Exercise 1
The paragraphs below need proofreading for possible fragments. Identify and correct
them in the space given.
1. A president is an appointed leader. Someone who is a decision maker in the executive branch
of our government. This doesn't necessarily mean that the person the people elect is capable.
Just hopefully assumes. Assumes through his past record as a politician, over the years'

2. For nearly 60 years Malaysians believed in better jobs, better homes and a better life for
