Setting up Inventory

1. Navigate to the Master Items window.

 (N) Inventory > Items > Master Items.

2. Query for the component item Aircraft Engine Assembly.

3. The following attributes must be defined for this component item.

4. Query for Aircraft Service Item. Verify that this service item is set up with the following

5. Navigate to the Subinventories window.

6. Verify that the following subinventories have been set up.

Setting up Oracle Warehouse Management


Mention that the prerequisites for this set up are that the Inventory setup should be complete,
Supply subinventories are setup, and Departments have been set up in Oracle BOM. The Bills of
Material set-ups will be described in the demos to follow.

7. Navigate to the Department Subinventories window.

 (N) Setup > Warehouse Configuration > Resources > Associate Departments &
Subinventories.

8. Query for a department, for example Assembly, and verify that it is associated with a
subinventory defined in the steps above.

9. Navigate to the Material Status window.

 (N) Transaction Setup > Inventory Transactions > Material Status.

10. Verify that the following statuses have been set up:

 MRB

 Unserviceable
 Serviceable

11. Navigate to the Subinventories Summary window.

 (N) Setup > Warehouse Configuration > Warehouse > Subinventories.

12. Verify that the subinventory defined has a material status associated with it.

13. Change responsibility to Application Developer. Verify that the following profile options are
set up.
