completers in their senior year and our dear Graduate in their HIGH SCHOOL
journey in college life. but this also a milestones for your parents Bgy. Sta. Monica,
as your achievement their achievement, your success is also Puerto Princesa City
their success. As you chase your dreams for the future, this
require your put on your best effort, as eventually, hard work will
also pay off.
You belong into a special program, a special school which
caters your needs in explary way not non-academic activity but
most importantly in the academic aspect, with this, in behalf of

Schools History
City of the living God, also known as Puerto
Princesa City, is the heart of Palawan. Located
specifically in Sta. Monica, at the back of the
new City Hall, lies Puerto Princesa City National
High School. Its humble beginning started in 1989
though its proponents, the former Superintendent
of the Division of Palawan Dr. Belen H. Magsino,
the late former Speaker Ramon V. Mitra and
former City Mayor Hon. Feliberto Oliveros Sr.,
who thought of spearheading a public high
school that would serve as a demonstration of
innovations both for teachers and students.

In June 1990, twenty-eight selected pioneering

students started the quest for quality teaching
learning through their lonr teacher-adviser, Dr.
Cristina G. Buenafe and Education Supervisors
Teresita P. Marcial handling Mathematics I,
Mrs. Zenaida T. Dusong sharing her expertise
in Home Economics, Mrs. Fe Tria Fernandez
handling music and Mrs. Silvanny Gastanes
teaching physical education. Varied challenges
and threats had been posed to this institution
but due to the commitment, able leadership and
support stakeholders, the school succeeded and
accomplished 25 years of execellence.
 Batch Prophecy
(February 27, 2035, NEW YORK CITY)
Hance: Ah! the sweet sound of the alarm lingered in my ears. As
I woke up, I peeked through the city lights covering the whole New
York City, I just woke up after taking a short nap after a long tiring
day of working as the newly appointed Secretary General of the United
Nations. I opened my phone to check the time, and to my surprise it
is only 7:00 P.M and the night was still young, but what startled me
the most is the date. Today is February 27, 2035, as I remember this
was also the date of my last grand ball during my Senior High School
and as the memories reminisce in my head, I also started to wonder,
how are my classmates right now. I opened my messenger and checked
those who are active right now in my contacts, there I saw one of my
classmates, Juaren Dasco and as I checked on his profile I saw that he
is now an Emirates Pilot, proudly wearing his uniform inside the cockpit.
As the green light signify that he is now active lit up, I chatted him. We
had a few talks, while talking to him, a spark of idea shot through my
mind, and I told him that “what if we initiate a batch reunion?
(DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT)
Juaren: As I am waiting in the Captain’s Lounge in Dubai International
Airport for my next flight bound to New York, I browsed through my
phone and suddenly a chat head popped up, it was an old friend, Hance.
We did a lot of catching up and he told me that he was planning to
organize a reunion for our batch, coincidentally he was also based in
New York and I told him that it was a perfect timing, we could meet up
and elaborate our plans more. He invited me in his apartment in New
York. My flight already commenced and after a long 15 hour flight, I
arrived in the busy streets of New York City. The tall skyscrapers and
the congested city sidewalks with people trying pass welcomed me, as
I continue to look around, I noticed that the city was mobbed with cabs
and cars going to and fro in numerous directions, I hailed a cab and
went directly to the address that he gave me. As I step down the Cab,
a pointed tall glass covered pointed skyscraper that could almost pierce
the sky stood before me. Hance said that he lives in the 80th floor of
the said building, the staff led me to a private elevator which directly
leads to his penthouse. As the elevator opened, I was welcomed by the
glossy floor and the exquisite living space, complete with a personal
movie theater, a balcony pool and a spacious living room. I saw him
standing near the balcony while viewing the city lights of New York, I
approached him and said my greetings.
Hance: I heard a voice coming from behind, and I was glad to see that
it was Juaren who just arrived here, I was very pleased to see him
since it has been a long time since we’ve met personally. We sat down
on my sofa and did a little chitchat and after that, we finally started
to plan for the reunion. The first thing that we did was to list down
our classmates and tried to locate them through Facebook and as we
were scrolling through to our timeline, the new trailer of the remake of
90’s blockbuster hit Charlie’s Angels grabbed our attention and to our
surprise, it is now entitled Manipol’s Angels starring Rhomuel Manipol
as Charlie, Hannah Gravamen, Angelica Guinto and Kristine Claire
Mendoza as the new angels looking very slick in their black body suit.
We tried to reach out in their personal accounts and luckily they said
that they will be able to come since it is after the premier of their movie.
Juaren: After browsing the Facebook, I felt that I needed some
caffeine in my system so I invited Hance to grab some coffee in the
famous coffee shop in downtown Manhattan, as we arrived, the warm
air embraced our bodies. The aromatic scent of coffee mixed with the
scent of chocolate and freshly baked pastries captivated us, as we
were nearing the counter we were surprised to see that the owner of
this coffee shop is actually Seasha Gonzales who now currently owns
the famous coffee shop named Sha’s Bucks, an internationally known
coffee shop. We had some talks and we told her about the plan, she
told us that we should pay a visit and invite some of our classmates who
is now based in Vegas. She never told us about their identities but she
gave us their address. After talking to Seasha, we tried to catch some
sleep and decided to pursue our plans tomorrow. As the sun touched
my face, we then decided to go to Vegas, as we arrive at the airport,
we headed to the VIP lounge since we will be using one of my private
jet collections and we took the 3 hour flight from New York to Vegas.
(LAS VEGAS)
Hance: As we arrive in Vegas, the enthusiastic and bright city lights
welcomed us and we headed to the location that Seasha gave us,
as we arrive in the said location, we were both enthralled with the
flashing fluorescent lights, people walking in the entire length of Vegas
strip and the luxurious cars parked all over the place. As we looked at
the flashy building in front of us, the logo of the place captured our
attention as the neon colored Two of Hearts casino shined brightly. As
we enter the place, we tried to look around in this very crowded place,
until the big LED screen lit up with the faces that we are looking for, it
was actually Rizelle Sumayang and Angelic Roche earning the top spot
in leaderboard of the greatest Pusoy Dos player in Vegas. We spotted
their table and they were also surprised to see us there. We told them
about our plans and they said that they will come. Angelic presented
that she will invite Mr. and Mrs. De Luna since she is still in contact with
them. Angelic stated that Precious Nunala is now a famous cosplayer
and James De Luna is now a famous Calvin Klein model. Rizelle then
told us that she also knows the location of some of our classmates, she
told us that we will be able to find them if we head to Hollywood.
(HOLLYWOOD)
Juaren: After meeting with them we went to California to go to
Hollywood. Flashing lights, Camera flashes and the Red carpet
welcomed us, as the crowd of people gathered in the Movie Premiere
of the Final Installation of The Avengers Movie, we tried to peek at the
commotion and there we saw some of our classmates starring in the
movie. Ismail Bibon is the New Captain America, Sean Rosario as the
new Thor, Justine Llorito as the new Iron Man, Albert Garcia as the
New Incredible Hulk, RJ Tabio as the new Black Panther, Lexi De Dios
as the New Scarlet Witch and Janna Bocita as the New Black Widow.
Due to our vast connections, we were able to get backstage passes
and was able to meet and invite them personally. As we were nearing
the backstage a woman silently approached us and we were shocked
to see that it was Sharriffa Balan and she told us that she is the new
Director of the movie. We were able to talk to them and we told them
our plans and they gladly accepted it.
Hance: After talking to them, we went to the airport to return to New
York. As we were waiting in the VIP lounge once again, I opened the
television to watch the news, I clicked the remote and it took me to the
CNN news where the Head Broadcaster is none other than Seychell
Solijon and it was not a surprise to me anymore since she was really
a good broadcaster back then. But what startled me the most is her
report, it was a breaking news, in the headlines it was written in
bold red letters that they were able to find the long lost son of Queen
Elizabeth the 2nd, little did we know that it was Bert Zachary Baybado.
He was named Prince Zachary 1st or also known as the smiling prince.
Later, they were on the headlines again as Prince Zachary announced
his engagement to Ge-an Dacillo who is now a well-known singer of
her generation. After seeing that, I knew exactly where to find them. So
instead of returning to New York, we went to England in Buckingham
Palace instead, to invite the royalties to our humble reunion.

Juaren: After talking to Prince Zachary, we then finally decided
to return to the Philippines to be able to finalize and to meet with
our classmates. We boarded the Plane and finally we landed in the
Philippines after a 14 hour flight. As we step out of NAIA terminal 1,
a huge bus stopped near us and we saw a towering group of people
in which we think is the new Gilas Pilipinas Team, coming home after
defeating China in a 100-76 score in the qualifying games for Olympics.
Huge crowd of fans circled around them and there to our surprise we
saw some of our old classmates who are a part of the team, there, we
saw Jester Rey, Marc Dandal, Lemuel Socrates with their team captain
and the ace of the team, Mel Marbella. We only had a short talk but still
we were able to tell them our plans and they said that they will inform
us if they are available.

Hance: After the encounter with them, I felt nauseous after the long
flight and huge crowd that we encountered, I knew exactly where to
go so we decided to stop by in a local Pharmacy to get some medicine.
As I was near the counter, I was greeted by a seemingly familiar face.
Her monolid eyes and small nose made her facial features remarkable.
It was none other than Julliene Diola or should I say Julliene Diola-
Atanacio as she was happily married to Raymond Jay Atanacio who
is now the Head Nurse of St. Luke’s Medical Center. She gave me the
medicine that I needed and before I forgot, I told her about the plan of
the reunion and that she should inform her husband. I bid goodbye and
went back to the car.
Juaren: As we were strolling through the busy streets of Manila, we
suddenly found ourselves stuck in the middle of traffic. In order to fight
my boredom I looked around the streets to see if anything has changed.
Looking around the busy highway, there were two billboards which
caught my eye and those were the latest billboards for the Toyota
Wigo 2035 and the Toyota Yaris 2035. But what made me smile is the
remarkable faces of the models and those were Louise Miguel and
Aubrey Gonzales who are now known models of different brands locally
and internationally.
Hance: We have finally arrived at Juaren’s home here in the Philippines,
I decided to stay here since I don’t have a place here in Manila. Due to
Juaren’s tiredness, he decided to sleep for a while and I decided to
catch up on the latest news so I opened his 70” inch Plasma TV. The
Local news captured my attention, It was a report about the recent Buy
Bust operation where 2 drug pushers were arrested, to my surprise it
was Mark Philip Amador and Jet Kyle Batoy, our former classmates,
who were caught red-handed during the operation, but what made me
surprised the most is that the one who caught them, it was Police Senior
Inspector Jon Edgar Calalin who was interviewed after the operation.
His integrity was known as a police officer. The news then came to an
end and the commercial played,I switched the channel and saw the
segment of Salamat Dok, but what caught my attention is that it was
Rozalee Grimpola who became their new celebrity Doctor. She became
known in the whole country. Dr. Grimpola’s lecture came to an end and
I switched the channel once more. As I was switching the channels, the
new segment of ABS-CBN caught my attention, it was “Magandang
Buhay”, but their new hosts were Mumshie Norijan Wahab, Mumshie
Zirah Valledor and Mumshie Annie Lepar, they became an iconic trio
that replaced the original hosts and they were interviewing Miss
Universe 2026 Miss Marian Macmac who is also our former classmate.
As I remember, she was like the Venus Raj of our batch. After their
interview with Marian, I returned to watch the news on CNN once again
and their news includes the announcement of the Latest National Artist
for Architecture who re-designed the Malacanang Palace, it was none
other than Danica Faye Escalona. It was awarded by none other than
her Excellency, the President of the Philippines, Hannah Margarette
Usodan. During the awarding, she was accompanied and secured by
the new PNP chief Patrick Ondac. After a short while, I felt tired and
turned the television off and decided to rest as well.

Juaren: After numerous days of contacting, messaging and sending out
invitations, the day of the event finally came. The event was held in my
own spacious private hall in my house. Today is April 2, 2035, the day
of the reunion, the lights were well lit, tables were neatly arranged, the
food was ready to be served. Our food for today was sponsored by the
Yamang Lamban owned by Faith Lamban who is now the owner of wide
arrays of farm that supplies local goods within the country and another
sponsor is The Bounty Fresh Chicky owned by Nerolie Fuyoc, the leading
supplier of poultry products in the Philippines. The program is ready to
start, we were just waiting for the arrival of our classmates. One of the
Early Birds was Francis Manlavi, he is now included in the Forbes List of
successful entrepreneurs, he was known for his E-commerce platform
focused on online shopping. Behind him was Jim Estipona a successful
businessman focused on the production of liquor, we were astonished
when he let his workers come and placed the cases of beer near the
catering area. Lord Christian Guinto came shortly after Jim’s Arrival he
was wearing a PUBG mobile T-shirt, complete with headphones while
carrying his latest ROG laptop, rumors have said that he decided to
pursue being a professional gamer.
Hance: After them, two people wearing a teacher’s uniform entered
the place, it was Jocelyn Jacinto who is now an elementary school
teacher together with her principal Dawn Casapao who looks very strict
and proper while scanning the whole place.
A group of people arrived following them, we were not able to
recognize them in the first place but it was the brightest scientists of
the Department of Science and Technology, Hanna De Jesus and Rhoda
Delos Reyes who were able to create the ointment that could cure Skin
Cancer through the use of Napier Grass. They were followed by the
one of the most notable Scientist of the Philippines, Joshua Gabucayan
carrying his personal swivel chair, but it was no ordinary swivel chair,
and it was a chair that became a huge innovation as a new source of
sustainable energy in the country.
Juaren: We were not able to sight our other classmates but as the
crowd grows bigger, the Mass then finally started. The commentator
then started speaking, at first we were not able to recognize her but to
our surprise it was Sister Anne Clarisse Tubac, who would’ve thought
of that? But what made us more surprised is her next announcement,
she announced, our Mass Presider for today is none other than Bishop
Simon Villono. During the duration of the mass someone sat beside
me, she was scurrying to grab a seat until I finally grasped at her
identity, it was Ivy Roldan or should I say Ivy Roldan-Reid who is now
the housewife of the veteran actor James Reid who chose to be married
to a non-celebrity after years of acting.
Hance: After the mass, we prepared for the next segment and it
was the dance party, we invited an international DJ who is also our
classmate, it was DJ Agnes or as we call her Thessa Oliveros back
in the good ol’ days. She played her loudest and exciting set of music
that turned the place into a real dance party. As I was strolling around
the dance floor I was able to meet Glea Escanlar who is now a famous
photographer, she was also the official photographer together with
her team in documenting the event, I also saw Mae Mendoza who is
the game developer of the popular game “Schooltime Saga”, she was
talking to Armi Tauro who is drinking an energy drink and she told me
that it was her latest product, the “Red Tauro” and they are also talking
to Vhennice Sabalones who is now a Doctor.
Juaren: As the dance party started, I decided to leave for a while and
spend some alone time in my veranda, as I was staring through the
night sky, I saw a luxury vehicle with intricate details on the outside
covered with tinted windows and large tires. I saw someone step out
of a limousine wearing fancy glasses and a dashing suit. I immediately
went down to meet who is the man of the hour and decided to approach
him. Of course, it was none other than the mad genius who was able
to prove that the earth is indeed flat, he is also known as the man
with the highest known IQ level, it was JJ De Roa. After that he
also introduced to me his latest scientific discovery, a discovery that
surpassed Leonardo Da Vinci’s image of a perfect man and he named it
as “The Real Life Modern Perfect Man”, or as he calls it “The Victorvian
Man” with his model Victor Ivan Gonzales. As we went inside, a certain
person caught our eye, he was shaking the hands of every person in the
hall, and it was none other than Kap Jeu Becira, the brave kapitan of
Barangay Santa Monica who is now running for the position of Mayor
of Puerto Princesa City.
Hance: Our attention were focused on the stage as DJ Thessa grabbed
the microphone and announced that we have a special number, it was
the latest winner of the World of Dance Philippines, The romantic
and Powerful couple, who is also our classmates, “The Vo Duo”, it was
Ariane Ballega and Kenneth Vo. Their performance was followed by
a sweet and short Song Number by Mariel Bungalso who became a
famous Singer-Songwriter. After their performances, I noticed in the
crowd that there are uniformed personnel clapping enthusiastically, it
was none other than AFP Chief Jaybriel De Jesus and the AFP Vice
Chief of staff General Aliza Orivida.
Juaren: It’s been a long night but everyone was still alive and energetic
in the party, as I roam around I realized that somebody is missing in the
crowd right now, I concentrated deeply in figuring out who is missing
until the lights went off. DJ Thessa announced that we should divert our to swipe, an advertisement popped up, it was an advertisement for
attentions to the screen as we have special guests from outer space, it Frontrow business, and it caught my attention since their model was

the house beside me is a huge mansion covered with a perfectly neat
lawn and an infinity pool. As looked further I recognized the owner of
this mansion, it was Ma’am Jane Favila who is now a retired teacher
living her best life in her newly brought mansion. Beside her was a lean
man carrying a huge key that is being handed to Ma’am Jane it was
our former adviser and now the owner of the Mara-VILLA Homes Sir
Jay Maravilla the provider of the most luxurious land properties in the
country.
Hance: After the party, I realized that a lot of my classmates have
already been married. I had a sudden thought about my own personal
love-life. So, I opened my phone and tapped the easiest or as they
say the “millennial” way of finding a match, the famous dating app
“Tiny-der”, developed by one of our most brilliant Senior High School
Teacher back then, Maam Tiny Poligrates. As I was swiping through
the app, a certain profile captured my attention, and I was shocked
to see that it was Ma’am Ellen Manzano. In her profile picture, she
was sitting in a gaming chair and her bio it states, “Professional Gamer
looking Professional Lover”, and I laughed with that sight. As I continue

And so the time has come!
I have to prepare myself for an ultimte heartbreak! However tears will fall, but these are tears of joy.
Thank y ou for allowing me to be part of your lives for a year. It was a roller-coaster experience, and I believe that we have created
enough memories for me to last the four seasons.

Tesla, I will always be here, a messenger away, a text-mile away. I will wait for the time to come that you will be the profession you
have choosen to be...in Time.

But for now, it’s just goodbyes...
