III. Rationale:

Internet is very famous nowadays for satisfying people with various services related to
various fields. It is a very versatile facility which can help you in completing many tasks easily
and conveniently with few clicks. It can be any work of daily usage or any specific service
which needs a lot of research and formalities to be done beforehand.

The existing internet gateway service of DepEd SDO Batangas City will end its contract
on July 2021.To continue the services being rendered by this department, there is a need to
procure and install a new, reliable and managed high-speed internet connectivity with
dedicated bandwidth symmetrically to both incoming and outgoing services. A much higher
bandwidth is in need to make it sufficient to a 100% of users in the Schools Division Office
and get along with DOS (denial of service) as far as communications and other internet
activities are concerned. It is also the requirement for the various systems being hosted
locally by the ICT office.

C. Terms and Conditions:

1. Contract term is twelve months (12) from the date of acceptance of the service.
2. Missed handling of internet service by the provider for a maximum of three times (3)
with in a calendar year, Schools Division Office can terminate the contract without
charges or penalty.
3. Price are inclusive of VAT.
4. Lead-time for the installation is 30 days upon received of Job Order/Purchase order

VI. Source of Fund

The total amount of 594,000.00 shall be charged against Division MOOE Fund subject for
usual accounting rules and agreement.
