Guidelines for Material Identification and

Use (MIU – MET 6)

1. Search two techniques related to the teaching of any kind of activity, and
explain how these techniques could be and effective way to teach. (Mention
at least two techniques)

Example: Using Songs in Class, Use of Drama in class, etc.

2. Present the material in a word document. Explain how the material would be
used in class and their effectiveness. (Make sure you answer the questions
below)

 Why is this technique important to use in class?

 How to use them.
 How would you present it to class? With a grammar? Vocabulary?
Explain and support your ideas.

3. It should have the following structure.

 Your details (name, teacher´s name, name of the course, etc.)

 Short intro for each technique
 Title (two topics)
 Subtitle (if there is one)
 Books / webpages cited (if any)

4. Upload your report to the system on the agreed day.
