Scope / Objectives
Does the client lack well defined objectives?
Is the scope of the project vague?
Are some of the deliverables poorly defined or not yet identified?
Is it getting difficult in defining clear acceptance criteria with client?
Are you unable to produce deliverables that are working systems?
Is the solution team unable to work with client contacts to clarify
the problem / implications and develop the solution?

2. Staffing
Will it be difficult to obtain the necessary resources at the right time?
Are there adequate resources to staff the project?
Is the staffing stable?
Have the project members implemented systems of this type?
Is the project reliant on a few key people?

3. Project Manager
Will the Project Manager be managing other projects at the same time?
Has the Project Manager been trained on Projec Process and Methodology?
Does the Project Manager have little or no experience with the technology required for this project?
Will the project manager be involved in developing the solution or the estimate?

4. Client
Does the end user have any prior experience with automated systems?
Will the project team have to coordinate with more than one client organization?
Does the project ever proceed before receiving customer approval?
Does the client understand the technical aspects of the system?
Does the client understand software?
Will the project team have access to client users with critical skills or experience?

5. Schedule
Does the Project Schedule have inadequate slack time to handle routine problem?
Is the project dependent on other or third parties?
Does schedule get in the way of quality?
Is there anything for which adequate schedule was not planned?

6. Technology / Skills
Does the project require special skills that project does not have now?
Is the project technically complex?
Does the project involve unproven technology?
Is complete, updated documentation available?
Do people get trained in skills required for this project?
Does the project require use of more than one technology platform?

7. Site / Facilities
Will the project team be located at multiple sites?
Will the team be located near the client?
Are the development facilities adequate?
Is the integration environment adequate?

8. Communication
Are all formal, informal lines of communication defined?
Have agreements been formalized in writing?
Will the issue resolution process be straightforward?

9. Pricing / Budget
Is the project a fixed price project?
Is the client budget feasible?
Has the project funding been secured?
Does the payment schedule put Kanbay at risk?
Is there anything for which adequate budget was not allocated?

10. Third Party


Will the project involve use / interaction with sub contractors?
