ST. JAMES “MINI FEST”
SUNDAY (August 8) - 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
St. James will host a picnic this year (called the “St. James
Mini Fest”) on Sunday, August 8.
Festivities will start on the grounds after the 9:30 AM Mass
and will conclude at 2:00 PM with the big raffle drawing.
There will NOT be a dinner this year, but we will have hot
ham sandwiches, hamburgers and brats and beverages. The
big tent will be set up and under that we will have kids’ games,
adult games, pull tabs and the silent auction. Additionally, we
will have a bake sale on the grounds.
OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE SHRINE PROGRAM
FRIDAY (July 30) – 10:30 AM TO 11:30 AM
409 W. Prairie Street, Endeavor, WI
For the first time in 60 years, Sister Joeann Daley and Kathleen
Stagney (artists & creators of the Our Lady of Guadalupe
mosaic) will travel to Endeavor to view their early work and share
with us the history behind the humble, yet captivating shrine to
Our Lady of Guadalupe (located behind the Guadalupe Center).
The program begins promptly with the arrival of Sister Joeann
and Kathleen at 10:30 AM. Father Grubba will talk about the
restoration of this respite for spiritual reflection and preservation
of Wisconsin history. Guests are encouraged to bring a foldup
chair. Attendance is free.
ANNUAL WELSH HYMN SONG
JULY 25 (Sunday) – 2:00 PM
WILD ROSE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
501 Jackson Street (Wild Rose)
All are invited to attend the annual traditional Welsh Hymn
(Gymanfa Ganu) at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 25, at the historic
Wild Rose Presbyterian Church, 501 Jackson Street in
Wild Rose. It will be directed by Ann Lemmenes of Waupun,
accompanied on a century old reed organ by Rev. Tom White
from North Fond du Lac with special music by Rev. Joe Corbin.
Sing along in 4-part harmony to beautiful hymns sung mostly
in English. The Gymanfa Ganu will be followed by a lovely
Te Bach (refreshments and fellowship). The church is air
conditioned, but there are stairs. Call the church at

SCHOLARSHIP FOR ST. JAMES PARISH CHILDREN
St. James Parish offers tuition scholarships for 5K-8 at
All Saints Catholic School in Berlin and 50% tuition coverage for
Lourdes Academy in Oshkosh for all active, contributing
members of St. James Parish. A signed agreement is required
and assistance is available for up to 7 students at this time
pending yearly policy review.
