Psychological Climate
- Referred to as the learning environment, as well as by term such as
atmosphere, ambience, ecology, milieu, emotional and the physical aspects of
the classroom.
Basic Components of Psychological Climate
Psychological Safety
Learner who feel secure and relatively free from worry and anxiety
feel comfortable and protected and are more willing to take risk, enter
new situation with confidence and are better in focusing their energy
on the task at hand.
Relationship
The nature and intensity if personal relationships within the
environment
The extent to which people are involved in the environment to support
as well as helping each other
Building relationship is how education works it is the catalyst in which
learning takes place
Respect for diversity, school connectedness or engagement students
will likely learn better when the school support the student.
Social support relationship with others
Personal Development
Basic direction along which personal growth and self enhancement
tend to occur.
