O Jesus, through the Immacula te
Heart of Mary, I o ffer Thee my
prayers, works, joys, and suffe rings o f
this day, for all the intentions of Thy
Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy
Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the
world, and in reparation for my sins.
Amen .
THE CONFITEOR:
I con fess to Almighty God, to Blessed
Mary ever Virgin, to Blessed Michael
the Archangel, to Blessed John the
Baptist, to the Holy Apostles Peter and
Paul, and to all the saints, that I have
sinned exceedingly in thought, word,
and deed through my fault, through my
fault, through my most grievous fault.
Th erefore I beseech Blessed Mary,
ever Virgin, Blessed Michael the
Archangel, Blessed John the Baptist ,
the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and
all the saints to pray to the Lord our
God for me. May the Almighty and
merci ful God have mercy on me, for -
give me my sins, and bring me to ever -
lasting life . Ame n. May the Almighty

absolution and remission o f all my

AN ACT OF FAITH:
O My God , I firmly believe that Tho u
are One God in Three Divine Persons,
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost: I believe
that Thy Divine Son became man, and
died for our sins, and that He will
come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe these and all the truths which
the Holy Catholic Church teaches be -
cause Thou hast revealed them, who
canst neither deceive nor be deceived.
AN ACT OF HOPE:
O My God, relying on Thy almighty power
and infinite mercy and promises, I hope
to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of
Thy grace, and life everlasting ,through
the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and
Redeemer.
ACT OF CHARITY:
O My God, I love The e above all things,
with my whole heart and soul, because
Thou art all good and worthy of all my
love. I love my neighbor as myself for the
love of The e. I forgive all who have in -
jured me, and ask pardon o f all whom I
have injured.
AN ACT OF CONTRITION:
O My God, I am heartily sorry for having
offe nde d Thee, and I detest all my sins,
because I dread the loss o f Heaven and
the pains of Hell, but most of all because
I have offe nd ed Thee , my God, who art
all good and deserving of all my love. I
firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace,
to con fess my sins, to do penance, and to
amend my life. Amen .
RENEWAL OF BAPTISMAL VOWS:
I renew my Baptismal vows, I renounce
Satan and all his works, and pomps; I
take Jesus Christ for my model and my
guide and I promise to be faithful to Him
unto the end o f my life. Amen .

Rememb er, O most gracious Virgin
Mary, that never was it known that

T o thee, O blessed Joseph, we
have recourse in our affliction , and,
having implored the help o f thy thrice
holy Spouse , we now, with hearts filled
with con fidence , earnestly beg Th ee
also to take us under thy protection.
By that charity wherewith thou wert
united to the Immaculate Virgin Mother
o f God and by that fatherly love with
which thou didst cherish the Child Je -
sus, we beseech thee and we humbly
pray that thou wilt look down with gra -
cious eye upon that inheritance which
Jesus Christ purchased by His blood,
and wilt succor us in our need by thy
power and strength. Defen d, O most
