SE Hydrology - From May 2014 to Aug 2019

Responsible for hydrology of the Medium and Major irrigation

projects and presently establishing the Real time data acquisition
system for the state of Telangana under National hydrology
project. Additional charge as Deputy Chief Engineer Medium
Irrigation projects.

Deputy Chief Engineer (Medium Irrigation) From April 2014 to April 2019 :

Responsible for sanction of the maintenance estimates, flood

monitoring, ayacut development of all the medium irrigation
projects.

Under PMKSY preparation of District irrigation plans and

Insentivization scheme for bridging the gap ayacut for Major and
Medium Irrigation projects.

Deputy Chief Engineer (Minor Irrigation) From Sept 2011 to Nov 2014 :

Being worked in the head office of CE minor I am having the

responsibilities in according Hydrological clearances of minor
irrigation schemes, formulation of scheme / project, designs, data,
estimates and according technical sanctions. Approval of draft
tender schedules, invitation of tenders on eprocurement platform,
finalisation and award of tenders, there after deviations and
revised estimates and updation of Master plan records i.e.
 consisting yields utilisations and balance yield available of all the
subgroups, sub basins and the basins of the state.

Deputy Executive Engineer (Minor Irrigation) From Feb 1999 to Aug 2011 :

In the process of scrutiny of above responsibilities of DCE

MI, I have developed my own programs in excel for
formulation of scheme / project (finalising the hydrology of
the scheme, i.e. yield availability, crop water requirement as
per modified penman method, and water balance studies for
12 years for fixation Full tank and sill levels, working out
maximum flood discharge, fixation of economic head of
discharge, free board and top bund levels), hydraulic
particulars of canal, designs of earthen bund, spillway and
its energy dissipation arrangements and sluices, and canal
structures, data, quantities, abstracts, economic analysis
such as Internal rate of return, benefit cost ratio, land
acquisition and report generation in draft and fair mode i.e
complete from preliminary investigation report to
sanctioning of estimate finalising and award of tenders and
there after deviations and upto revised estimate with the
Standard schedule of rates year by year including price
adjustments.

In project formulation it was programmed to fit the weir /

spillway location such that the cost of the project is
economised by itself and options for shifting according to
the suitability of foundation.

By using the above programme I have finalised 85 Nos of

projects under NABARD funding and 50 Nos of Projects
under APILIP with JICA funding

Assistant Executive Engineer (Minor Irrigation) From May 1995 to Jan 1999 :

Similar work as above with detailed and meticulous scrutiny and

finalization of the minor irrigation projects and hydrological
clearances of minor irrigation schemes and ;updation of master
plan records etc.

Assistant Executive Engineer in Cyclone Emergency reconstruction project Avanigedda

From Jan1991 to April 1995 :

Executed Krishna eastern tidal banks at Kodur and improvements

South Channel which supplies water to irrigate lands from
Avanigadda to Nagayalanka and improvements to Gunderu and
Inampudi drains by excavation and forming banks and repairs to
old structures and construction of new structure etc.

The above works involves investigation, designs, preparation of

estimates and execution of works.
Assistant Executive Engineer in SLBC Presently AMRP Project Nalgonda From Feb 1986 to DEC 1990

Investigated Major distributary D37. Executed construction of

Kangal camp colony, Constructed camp buildings, internal roads,
overhead tank & water supply system, drainage system including
septic tank, internal roads & culverts and external & internal
electrification etc.

Prepared estimates of 11 one Km reaches and estimates of all

type of structures and especially prepared the estimate for the
Kangal Aqueduct. Executed the approaches of Kangal Aqueduct
and excavation and forming embankment of canal reach of 1 Km
in Nalgonda Dist.

Assistant Lecturer in Govt. Polytechnic Nalgonda From Jan 1984 to Jan 1986

Site Engineer in Prefabs grating Pvt. Ltd. From May 1983 to Dce 1983 :

Executed 2 Nos of 110MW Power house construction of

Nagarjuna Sagar Project one in foundation and sub structure and
other in super structure.
