7.6. NCR Numbering System

7.5.1 The NCR shall adopt the following numbering system:

CPN05 –NCR – XXX – X-XXX Ex.: CPN05-NCR–POSCO–C–0001

Where;

(a) Abbreviation for Contract Package No. 5

(b) Abbreviation for Non Conformance Report
(c) Contractor or Subcontractor Involved; Ex.: POSCO, EEI, HM for Hilmarcs,
NB for Northern Builders
(d) Trade or Discipline Ex.: C-Civil, E-Electrical, M-Mechanical, A-Architectural
(e) Serial number per each classification of activity where the sequence
number will be in chronological order for each issued NCR: Ex.: 0001; 0002
(f) For supplementary documents attachment i.e photographs, drawings
specifications…etc, attached documents will be identified with the same NCR
number on each pages incorporating the date and detailed information &
location.

7.7. Distribution of NCRs

The document controller shall distribute and transmit copy of the NCR to all parties
involved, wherever applicable. Besides:
The Engineer
Project Manager
Construction Manager
Quality Control Manager
Supplier/Sub-contractor
