There are instances where our government may sanction individuals or organizations
on issues about improper use or consumption of arts. It is when someone has
disobeyed a law. There are many kinds of issues concerning the improper use or
consumption of an artwork. As an individual, we have to be aware what was lawfully
wrong and right to avoid committing crimes. Others may not realize that they have
committed one and they didn’t even know it. One of the issues concerning the improper
use of arts is art plagiarism. According to the Intellectual Property Code of the
Philippines, art plagiarism is an illegal act and considered a form of cheating. The act is
punishable by law for the reason that it violates the artist’s right and it goes against the
law.

website for he has profited someone else artwork both financially and in reputation.
