Exercise No.3 Inserting Bullets and Numbering

Objectives:

At the end of this activity, the students are expected to

1. Insert bullets automatically

2. Insert numbers automatically

Procedure

1. Open Word
2. Create a New file. Please read all the steps first before performing the
activity.
3. In typing the ingredients, use the automatic bullet formatting. On the Home
menu, click on the arrow on the right side of the bullet icon under the
Paragraph Tab.
4. Now, keyboard the following. Avoid typographical errors. Choose your own
font, style and color

ENGLISH TRIFLE

Ingredients:

● 2 egg yolks
● 2 tablespoons sugar
● 1 cup scalded milk
● 6 ladyfingers
● Strawberry or raspberry jam
● 12 almond macaroons
● 18 almonds, blanched and slivered
● Grated rind of ½ lemon
● ½ cup sherry
● 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
● Candied cherries
● Pistachio nuts, chopped

5. Now, on typing the procedure, click on the Numbering Button located

beside the bullet icon.
6. Choose your font, font size and style in typing the Procedure

Procedure:

1. In top of a double broiler, combine egg yolks, sugar and scalded milk.

2. Stir constantly over boiling water until thick and smooth.

3. Cool slightly
4. Split the ladyfingers and spread with jam.
5. Arrange in serving dish.
6. Cover with macaroons and sprinkle with almonds and rind.
7. Pour sherry over macaroons and soak.
8. Spoon in custard and top with whipped cream.
9. Garnish with cherries and chopped nuts.
10. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
