Thank you so much, Ma’am for the welcoming and very much empowering words you
have shared.

Now, may I call Ms. Vhenalyn J. Teppang, our year level coordinator to introduce to us
our special and honorable guest speaker for this day. Let’s give her a big hand!

*Guest Speaker*

Thank you very much, Mr. Christopher Tadena for a very inspiring and remarkable
speech to our dear participants here in our Zoom Conference.

Indeed, this pandemic has really changed everything around the world. From our basic
way of living to big celebrations like these has all of a sudden shifted into the “New
Normal”.
But, these happenings never stopped the students of our Academy to excel and to
achieve all their goals!

A recognition day is the culmination of all the hard work -- months and even years of
study, goals and ambition, and most importantly, together with the aforementioned, the
determination, creativity, respect, and genuine kindness of our students. It is the day
when students can say, “I’ve made it!” and we can consider it also as a milestone in a
person’s life.

That’s why, today, we are to give the rightful recognition to the deserving students of
Quezon City Academy Foundation, Inc. for the school year 2020-2021. And so, I am
pleased to have the diligent and active Asst. Principal, Ms. Merlyn M. Eligio to read first
the citation of certificates of recognition for the reliable and competent leaders of our
Grade 9 Homerooms! Let us give her a big hand!

*Reading of Certificates*

Thank you, Ma’am! Now, may I call on the respective Grade 9 section advisers to
present and to recognize the efforts of our Section Officers who’ve done their best to
manage and to lead the class even in a virtual environment.

*Awarding of Officers*

Thank you, teachers! And of course, thank you very much to our tireless section
officers. Surely, you have proved that this pandemic is not something that would stop
you from delivering excellence through quality service to your fellow students. Once
again, let’s give them a big hand.

Now, we have reached the most awaited moment of our program. To read the citation
of Certificates of recognition for the top achievers and excellent students that we have
for the school year 2020-2021, may I once again invite Ms. Merlyn M. Eligio. Let’s give
her a big hand.

*Reading of Certificates*

Thank you so much, Ma’am. At this point, to present and to confer the awardees, may
we call on the Grade 9 Year Level Coordinator, Ms. Vhenalyn J. Teppang to be
assisted by the respective section advisers of Grade 9 Level! Please give them a big
round of applause!

*With Honors*
*Top 10*

Congratulations, students! Truly, you have tried and done your best which made you
deserved of the best! Let’s give another resounding round of applause to our grade 9
achievers and awardees!

At this point, let us pay attention, pin our ears to our leader no other than the ever-
supportive Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Quezon City Academy Foundation,
Inc., Mr. Carmelino P. Alvendia, Jr. for his message to our dear achievers and
participants of today’s Conference. Let us give him an echoing round of applause!

*Words of encouragement - Chairman*

Thank you so much, Mr. Alvendia! We are so delighted of your words. Truly, every
difficulty won’t be something to worry if one has the will, diligence and determination.
Our excellent students, the hardworking parents, and the innovative faculty have
shown that the pandemic and sudden shift of our working and learning environment are
not something to bring us down and to hinder us in developing ourselves holistically.
Once again, thank you very much, Chairman. Let’s give him a big hand!

I am sure that at this very moment, the emotions are still intense however, we have
reached the final part of our program.

And so, to conclude our event for this day, may we invite our endearing School
President, Ms. Florentina C. Gonzales to send her official closing remarks. Let us give
her a round of applause.

*Closing Remarks*

Thank you very much, Ma’am for your invaluable service to our Academy and for the
words of wisdom you have shared with us!

…As cliche as it says, every beginning has an ending.

But always keep in mind that every ending is a sign of new beginnings.

And so, may I once again invite everyone to stand for the closing prayer to be led by
Ms. Romalyn D. Montoya, Math Coordinator and to be followed by the singing of the
QCA Hymn which will be conducted by Mrs. Nilda S. Cruz, Science Coordinator. Again,
please all rise.
*Prayer, QCA Hymn*

Once again, I am Ms. Kimberly Rae G. Catapang
