The Internet is only a mouse click away, and can be accessed as an unlimited media
pool for downloads, shared arrangements in the MAGIX Chat Room, and to publish
your songs or videos in the MAGIX web publishing area.
Operation is standardised and easy. The components of the supplied Sound &
VideoPool CDs can be mixed together with software synthesisers, multimedia files
from the Internet with audio CD songs, own recordings with videos or graphics, even
MIDI files for remote control of the soundcard or external synthesiser can be perfectly
integrated.
Please read the following notes carefully! They contain important information to

Installation:

In order to install the following components simply click the appropriate symbol in the
Start Menu > Programs > MAGIX music > MAGIX music & video maker generation 6
deLuxe!

Acrobat Reader:
You will need Acrobat Reader to be able to use the electronic manual supplied for the
music editor.

QDesign® MPEG Audio Codec:

QDesign® MPEG Audio Codec must be installed to create audio data in MPEG
format in MAGIX music & video maker generation 6 deLuxe.

QuickTime®:
QuickTime® must be installed to export video as a QuickTime® movie.

Problem solutions:

Older Windows 95 operating systems may display the MAGIX music maker explorer
incorrectly.
If so, you will have to install Windows common controls:
Start Menu > Programs > MAGIX music > MAGIX music & video maker generation 6
deLuxe > install Windows common controls

You can't import MP3 files.

In this case, Windows Media Player must be installed:
Start Menu > Programs > MAGIX music > MAGIX music & video maker generation 6
deLuxe > install Windows Media Player

You can't play WMA or WMV files.

Here, you need to install Windows Media Player:
Start Menu > Programs > MAGIX music > MAGIX music & video maker generation 6
