Steps for using Padlet for students

Introduction
Padlet is a an online bulletin board where students can have interactive conversations with the
whole class, show their thinking, showcase their work, and much more!

The following steps explains how you can sign up to Padlet for the first time and use its
username and password to contribute with your ideas during a class discussion.

1: Students open the Padlet website (https://padlet.com) and click on signup

2: Choose your email address to create your account with (use google account)

3: Select your google account to continue to Padlet .

4: Select the free basic plan

4: Click on the add (+) button to add your posts.

You can start by typing a title for your post.

Below you can see all the

different types of posts you
can make. Of course, the
easiest way is to type a simple
text under the title of the post.

5: You can also upload a file (for example a picture) from your
computer

Click on the upload button.

6: You can add a link to another website

7: You can also search for different types of media that
students can include in their posts (images, videos, GIFS, Audio, website).

Click on the search button.

8: From the dropdown menu you have a number of options like draw function
which allows you to draw on a white board.
