“CONSCIENTIOUSNESS”

Conscientiousness is a personality trait of being careful or diligent.


Conscientiousness implies a desire to do a task well. Conscientiousness
people are efficient and organized. The definition of conscientiousness is a
trait where you act based on what you know is right and with great care
and honesty. When you complete all your school assignments with great
care, writing slowly and clearly and making sure that they are neat and
correct. This is an example of conscientiousness. Conscientiousness is
highly valued, but without empathy and other social skills it can lead to
problems in social groups. For example, conscientiousness people set
themselves very high standards and often find organizing themselves easy.
Terms such as 'hard-working,' 'reliable,' and 'persevering' describe
desirable aspects of character. Because it was once believed to be a moral
evaluation, conscientiousness was overlooked as a real psychological
attribute. The reality of individual differences in conscientiousness has
now been clearly established by studies of cross-observer agreement. Peer
and expert ratings confirm the self-reports that people make about their
degrees of conscientiousness. Furthermore, both self-reports and observer
ratings of conscientiousness predict real-life outcomes such as academic
success.

2. A conscientious person does not rely on his memory
3. A conscientious person has self-efficacy
4. A conscientious person values time.
5. A conscientious person does not break a promise
6. A conscientious person never gives up
7. A conscientious person never avoids a problem.
In summary, conscientiousness plays a significant role in success.
However, in order to become a conscientious person, you don’t need to
make a radical change in yourself. Maybe you can start small. Start fixing
your own mess. Doing small but significant steps will ultimately lead you
to develop a sense of responsibility throughout your life.
