Kol awoke with a shock in his system. He didn't remember much, only fragments of a
dark being beckoning him. Kol shook it off as he stared out his window. The town moved
and swayed as a gentle breeze flowed in. The young 15-year-old got out of bed and got
straight to work. He didn't have any family. He didn't have friends. But that didn't stop
Raphael from helping those who were less fortunate in the village. It was the least he
could do after they helped raise him when he first arrived all those years ago.

As he is doing his daily routine he run into a boy who was being attacked by some local
bullies. Without a beat, Kol jumped into the fray taking every hit and protecting the boy
until the bullies ran away. That was the day he met Ryver (Human), son of the Duke. He
was a shy, awkward young boy who believed that helping others was more important than
one’s own desires. Years passed as their budding friendship slowly turned romantic. One
day Kol begged Ryver to run away with him hoping to have a perfect life with him. But,
River avoided the answer citing that his father would search the ends of the earth for both
of them. So they kept their love a secret. It was the closest thing Kol had ever had to a
family and he didn't want to let it go.

However the fantasy was not meant to last.

One day on his way home, Kol had been knocked out by strange men in cloaks and
brought in front of the Duke and his son. The tyrant found out about the relationship and
wanted to teach his son a lesson. So he forced his son to make a choice. Sentence the man
he loves to death or have the whole village burned to the ground for harvesting a fugitive.
River looked at the man he loved before bowing his head. Kol looked at his love with
tears in his eyes as the once-great hero was sentenced to death in front of the village for
high treason against the kingdom. In a single moment, Kol lost everything. His love. His
community. Everything.

But as he was about to close his eyes for the last time a voice called out to him. Standing
in front of him was the grand woman who haunted his dreams. She offered him a choice.
Serve her and gain immense power or die alone. Kol took the latter. The next thing he
knew he was in a strange forest far away from the town that considered him a traitor.

That was 12 years ago.

With the help of his raven companion, Aurora, Kol does what he can to help those in
need. He hopes to one day get strong enough to get revenge on the tyrannical man who
not only causes mental harm to the man he still loves but also brings peace to the village
he once called home.
