Job Description Mechanic
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repair company vehicles based on the diagnosed issues.
Receives Job Order Form from the Motorpool Secretary and performs vehicle diagnosis based on
observational and mechanical testing as well as from the information provided by the company driver to
verify the vehicle trouble complain.
Identifies spare parts to be needed for repair and coordinates with the Motorpool Secretary for the parts to
be requested.
File appropriate documentation before each repair such as Job Order Forms and/or Spare Parts Request
Forms.
Checks if the purchased spare parts delivered by the office runner are correct, if not, coordinates with the
Motorpool Secretary for request on replacement.
Performs vehicle repair as soon as the spare parts are available.
Test drives the vehicle if the repair is done before dispatch to ensure mechanical soundness and to
determine whether any other problems exist.
Inform the Motorpool Secretary that the vehicle if ready for dispatch.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
Other tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
Automotive Servicing NC II certification
Valid Driver’s License
Experience:
at least 3-years previous experience in automotive repair.

Skills:
Knowledge of tools and equipment required to conduct all repairs.
Ability to operate diagnostic tools required
Excellent communication skills
Organized and able to meet deadlines
Can Manage at least 5 people

Deal with other employees professionally at all times
Ensure motorpool area clean at all times.
