A Vaisnava Businessman who facilitated Youth Preaching in Nepal by providing ‘wonderful city

center’ passed away on Friday, May 28th 2021. He was 72.

His Grace Singharaj Prabhu (Shiva Kumar Adukiya) Guardian Member of VISA, ISKCON
Nepal passed away at Hospital based at Dubai. He was initiated in late 80’s by His Holiness
Jayapataka Swami Maharaj. Since his early days he became a life member and a staunch, loyal
follower of Srila Prabhupada. He was one of the senior most member pushing this movement in
Nepal as a vaisnava Businessman.

He was great reader of Srila Prabhupada books and with great belief in His books, he used to
create occasions to donate and distribute Srila Prabhupada books. He always spoke about Srila
Prabhupada with great love, and his greatest joy was to invite devotees to his house and serve
them. Throughout his life, he always engaged all his assets and his family members in Srila
Prabhupada's mission.

No task was too big and no service too menial for him, and he turned his hand to a remarkable
variety of initiatives and projects with enthusiasm and determination. He was lover of Jagannath
Rathyatra and life time committee member of Rathyatra. In doing all this, he was always a
charming gentleman to those he met, and a genuine sadhu. His skills and affectionate dealings
with others impressed a generation of devotees at ISKCON Nepal.

Singharaj Prabhu gave his life selflessly and wholeheartedly in the service of Srila Prabhupada
and Radha GovindaHari. He was a “Bhishma Pitamaha” Gaurdian of Preaching & major pillar of
the activities and achievements of VISA, ISKCON Nepal

He was soft hearted and humble devotee of Lord Damodar. He always continued to inspire both
guests and personal carers with his expressed love and deep gratitude. Without complaint he
accepted his life’s condition as the Lord’s mercy upon him, through which he gradually
progressed his inner life more deeply. 

In his final hours he was serene and without discomfort. His passing was auspicious as was his
life, with prayers from devotees, Lord’s holy name around & his worshipable Radha Damaodar
photo with him.

Devotees at ISKCON Nepal absorbed themselves in kirtan, or congregational chanting, for

Singharaj Prabhu. Co-Regional Secretary His Grace Patri Prabhu remembers His Holiness
Mahavishnu Swami Maharaj saying to him: “Just as you are providing City Center for Preaching
Movement, Krishna is building Center for you in GolokaDhama.”
