AN INTERESTING PLACE TO VISIT

Having been an ardent traveler for almost my whole

life time, the place that has always had a room booked
in my heart is the small hill town of Kerala, Munnar.
Driving through the hairpin roads of the hill town, the
chill and humid air brushing through my face has never
failed to leave a smile on my face. The luxurious hotel
rooms can never match the standard of the single
rooms on the hilltop. A visit to the hillock can never be
perfect without kannetan’s mouthwatering Parotta-
Beef roast combo. Walking through the tea plantations
one cannot resist a cup of tea from the tea
manufacturers themselves. Lucky are the ones who get
a chance to visit the hill town when the Neelakurinji
blooms to form the Blue mountain, an aesthetic view
of the nature’s play. The natural water bodies downhill
make a pool for some and a fishing spot for some but
the fun you get doing all these is something
unimaginable. After a swim in the lake, resting by the
lawns one can have a beautiful view of the sunset sky,
a palette of beautiful colors. Sleeping under the dark
sky illuminated by the moon and the crickets
stridulating through the night one cannot ask for a
better place to spend a peaceful night. A person fed up
of the city life cannot find a better soothing place for a
short break.
