Director of Induction & Leadership Development (7/2020 – Present)
Deliver comprehensive knowledge of Tennessee Instructional Leadership Standards, as well as Hamilton County
Schools' leadership Standards to school leaders, to accelerated student achievement and student growth. Organize
and train leaders on McREL's Balanced Leadership Framework. Oversee a team that focuses on new teacher's
success by implementing a robust new teacher induction program. Participate in professional development
activities to advance knowledge of educational trends in leadership development.
Selected accomplishments:
• Improved first-year teacher retention to 86 % (up from 74 % in 2018), exceeding the 2023 five-year KPI
target.
• Foster a culture of learning for certified and classified employees.

federal regulations to ensure each campus complies with state/federal/School Board policies and

• Increased the number of Level 3, 4, 5 teachers in tested areas from 1 in 2017 to 7 in 2019.
• Reduced Chronic Absenteeism from 33.8 % in 2017 to 26.4 % in 2020.
