Reference is made to office letter No. ___________ regarding alleged fake

signatures of the undersigned and others for payment to NESPAK for the works listed
below:

1. Dualization of Road from PIA Road to UMT, Lahore

2. Rehabilitation and Improvement of Abdul Haque Road from Canal Bank Road to
Southern By-Pass (Expo-Center), Lahore;
3. Rehabilitation and Improvement of Road in front of LACAS School, M.A. Johar
Town, Lahore.

In this regard, it is stated that NESPAK’s claim for payment on account of

construction supervision is genuine and no payment has been made to NESPAK for their
services against the above-listed works.

However, it is clarified that the huge quantum & urgency of works vested with the
undersigned, may have led to a slight mismatch of the signatures on NESPAK’s payment
claims under question.

It is further clarified that the payment against services rendered by NESPAK is made
in favor of the organization, a government-owned entity and as such no individual can
benefit at a personal level by affixing forged signatures with malafide intention.

Foregoing above, it is clarified that the undersigned’s signatures are genuine and
original.
