Abstract
• The idea of Laplace Transformations is an important role in field of
engineering & technology as to solve Differential Equation , In simple
Electric Circuit and also in Nuclear physic we use Laplace transformation
to get radioactive decay and also there is more use of laplace
transformation is in the world.
ABOUT LAPLACE TRANSFORMATION
➢In mathematics Transformation is the conversion of one function to
another function that may be in the same domain or may be not.
➢Laplace transform is a transformation tool, which transforms the
original differential equation into an elementary algebraic expression.
That we can simply transforme once again into the solution of the
previous form.

➢Laplace transform is known after the mathematician and astronomer

Pierre Simon Laplace.
BASIC OF LAPLACE TRANSFORM
❖Suppose that, f is a real or may be complex valued function of variable
which condition is ‘t> 0’ and ‘s’ is in real or complex parameter then we
define the Laplace transform of ‘f’ as :-
Application of Laplace Transform
➢The applications of LaplaceTransformation in real world application is
a vast universe . In next slides we are showing some major application
of Laplace Transformation which is widely used in following science
and engineering field.
❖ Use of Laplace Transformation
to solve Differential Equations:
➢The Laplace Transform can be use to solve Ordinary
differential equation without finding any arbitrary constants
and general solution.
Differential equation :-
Using Laplace Transform both sides then we get:-
❖ Use of Laplace Transformation to
solve Simple Electric Circuit
problems:-

➢Suppose an electric circuit consist of a resistance (R), inductance (L),

capacitance (C) and electromotive power of voltage (E) in a series.
❖ Use of Laplace Transform in
Nuclear-Physics:-
➢ Considering the first order linear differential equation Which is the fundamental relationship that
describe radioactive decay,
Where,

Here it shows the number of undecayed atoms that remains in a sample of a radioactive isotope at time(t) and the
decay constant. And we can use the Laplace Transformation to solve equation.
After Rearranging the equation, we will get ,
