Title: Power
Aim: Measuring power output by running up 20 flights of a stairs
Material/ Apparatus: Stairs, stop watch, mass balance
Method:
1. The mass of a person was measured
2. The mass was converted to weight
3. The height of one stair was measured and the total height of 20 stairs
calculated
4. The person ran up the flight of stairs and the time taken was recorded
5. The power of the person was calculated using formula
Power = work done/ time taken
6. The Power output of 4 other persons were compared
