Importing licenses in XClarity Administrator v2.7
• XClarity Administrator v2.7 changed the way licenses are installed.
– License keys are now used instead of License Enablement update packages.
– Existing licenses must be converted to license keys for use in v2.7.

• You can get the license keys from Lenovo Features on Demand website - https://fod.lenovo.com/

• Retrieving the license keys requires your Lenovo Customer Number.

– Customer Number is 10 characters long and starts with 121 (for example, 1219238923)

1. Log in to Lenovo Features on
Demand website
(https://fod.lenovo.com/).

2. Click on Retrieve History.

3. Under Search type, choose

“Search history via Lenovo
Customer Number.”

4. Under Search Value, enter your

Lenovo Customer number.

The customer number format is

121XXXXXXX.

5. Click Select all to download all
license keys or select individual
keys from the list.

6. Click Email to email the keys to

you, or click Download to
download the keys to your local
system.

7. Log in to XClarity Administrator,
and click Administration >
Licenses.

8. Click the Import and Apply icon.

9. Click Select Files.

10. Click Import and Apply.

Troubleshooting Issues
• Cannot find your customer number

– Contact Lenovo sales representative or Business Partner

• Number of active entitlements are lower than expected

– Possible have unregistered entitlements or entitlements have expired
