BPO ACADEMY – CREATE THE FUTURE

Globally, the BPO sector is touching $350 billion market value and still growing with an aggregate growth rate of 7%
which makes it one of the most desirable sectors to invest in and to be associated with.

We in Pakistan are not yet able to keep our pace with the world in this business since countries like India, the
Philippines, Malaysia, and Mexico have successfully taken the lead and surpassed us with large numbers.

Venture Force Global by virtue of its experience of more than a decade in this business has now decided to set up a
BPO Academy. With Pakistan’s IT Exports crossing the USD 1.0 billion marks with a growth rate of 37%+ over last year,
we are confident that our efforts coupled with Government level support from Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB)
and talent recognition support from other Professional Bodies Like ICMAP and ICAP will add a new dimension to the BPO
Industry in Pakistan.

Objectives of the Academy:

To achieve these objectives, we have invested and developed a 6 months BPO Training Diploma Program, comprised of
02 Levels in Partnership with Premier Institutions of Repute in Pakistan, which are:

 Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan. (ICMAP) – implemented since 2020
 Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. (ICAP) – under implementation
 Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan. (IFMP)

Learning Management System (LMS):

We have established a robust Learning Management System (LMS) for students and instructors which is managed at the
back-end by the program coordinator. The further discuss the details of students and instructors LMS:

■ STUDENT’S LMS

The student’s dashboard includes the following features:

 Student Details: Here the detail of students appears including their names, Contact,
Email, Joining date, and Date of Birth.
Updates: All updates related to classes appear here including class
rescheduling or cancellation Attendance: Students can view their total
attendance here; it is auto-marked every time student join the class
Class Schedule: Here students can view their scheduled classes, upon selecting the date they can
view course name, instructor name, timings, and teacher’s short notes. On the day of class, they
can access class using the “join now” button. For previous classes, they can access recordings,
and give feedback.

 Course Progress: Here students can view the progress of each course

 Assignments: Here students can access their assignments, they can download the
given worksheet and upload their answer sheet
 Lectures: Here Students can access all the lecture’s presentations

 Book List: Here students can access all the books related to the course
 Class Schedule: Here students can view the list of all future classes along with instructors and timings
 Result: Here students will find their marks and grade, which will be continuously updated for assignments and
quizzed
 Notes: Here students can access all the documents and learning material provided by instructors.
 Quiz: This is used by students to give their exams.

Assessment:

To gauge the student’s learning and understanding of the concepts we conduct an assessment for each level into two
parts: first one to gauge the student’s understanding of theoretical concepts and second to assess student’s practical
learning:

Theoretical Assessment (MCQs-Based):

This exam usually consists of 60-75 MCQs for which 1-2 minutes is given per MCQ, the purpose of this is to motivate
students to focus on theoretical concepts and to develop their understanding. The MCQs are based on all the theoretical
classes conducted in the concern level including guest speaker sessions.

Practical Exam (ERP-Based):

We conduct a 2-3-hour exam in which we assess the students against their understanding of the ERP portal and their
ability to conduct activates on the platform. Our exam usually consists of real-life and applicable questions.

Feedback:

We actively seek continuous feedback from our students to ensure the quality of our services. we have incorporated a
feature of feedback for daily classes on one hand while we roll out compulsory feedback form over the completion of a
level. In response to the compulsory form of level 1 of our first batch at ICMA we received the following response:

 We acquired feedback on each course which summarizes into 25% selected excellent, 63% good.10%
satisfactory, while 2% average.
 We took feedback on each instructor which showed that 49% of them found it extremely well, 50% somewhat
well, 0.5% Not so well, and 0.5% Not at all well.

Instructor’s Profiles:

• Adeel Shah, Chairman & CEO, VFG

Adeel has a long, distinguished career in which he has formulated and successfully executed strategic plans for
international and domestic commercial firms. His relationships with investment banks, securities companies, and
venture capital markets give him the capability to successfully fund companies at various stages of development. He is
primarily involved in raising private equity, catering to high net worth individuals, financial institutions, corporations,
governments/quasi-governmental organizations and family businesses. Adeel is also actively involved in originating
business deals and assisting with the deal-structuring process. He works closely with client companies to understand
their specific requirements, leveraging the capabilities and expertise throughout the institutional and individual
networks to provide strategic solutions to meet these requirements. His education background includes International
Public Policy from SAIS-University of Johns Hopkins and MBA from Carey Business School of Johns Hopkins

• Fazal Mahmood, COO, VFG


Fazal Mahmood has trained and managed statewide State Personnel on regional computer systems. His valuable
Information Technology (software and hardware) experience gives the company an edge to compete in the global
business market. He has also managed and led Small Business Innovation Research Program for one of a defense agency
in the United States. His last title was Computer Scientist in a defense agency. He has earned his Master’s in Science
(MS) in computer science an MBA from the University of Maryland, USA.

• Irfan J. Shah, Country Manager, VFG

Irfan Jameel has diversified experience in Project Management, Information Technology, and Marketing. Irfan has
expertise in establishing Back Offices for various clients in the USA, UAE, and Pakistan. He led a team of Project
Managers, Chartered Accountants, and Government-registered Tax Agents to establish the largest VAT-related services
company in the UAE, which included hiring and mobilizing a team of more than 150 Sales and Support Agents and more
than 50 Qualified Accountants to successfully provide taxation-related services to more than 5,000 SMEs across UAE.
Possessing entrepreneurial personality, combined with strong decision-making, interpersonal communication, and
presentation skills, Irfan has been instrumental in the success of various projects and marketing of solutions like
Enterprise Resource Planning, Client Relationship Management, Document Management System, Assets Performance
Management Systems, and other Decision Support and Management Information Systems. Irfan has served as a visiting
faculty at different Universities where he taught IT subjects. Having a Master’s Degree in Electronics, Irfan holds many
certifications as well on his credit.

• Khurram Iqbal, COO, VFG

Khurram Iqbal has worked as a Head of Finance department at Faisalabad Oil Refinery (PVT) LTD, Kisan Foods &
Channel 92. He has studied investments and securities and has passed the level 1 exam at Chartered Financial Analysts
Institute and CMA at Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan. He is an expert in financial
management, planning, and managing the company’s performance. He is well versed in managing operations and
processes within budget. He is profoundly responsible for the well-being of the client’s financial growth and stability in
terms of making a loss or profit. Khurram has an experience of more than 20 years in Accounting, Audit, and related
segments.

• Rashid Ahmed, Head of Operation, VFG

Rashid Ahmed has more than 20 years of experience in some of the most prestigious companies of Pakistan, Sri Lanka,
and UAE including Afeef Group of Companies, Venus Group of Companies, Emirates Neon Group (ENG), Siemens
Pakistan Engineering Co Ltd, DGM, Industrial Clothing Limited, Reckitt & Benckiser Ltd., and Central Cotton Mills Limited,
currently he is working as a Head of Operation in a VentureForce Global. He possesses extensive experience in large-
scale financial project management, financial operations, financial planning, and compliance & Internal control along
with monitoring of business operations. He holds a Bachelors's in Commerce degree along with FCMA certification.

• Anwar Hassan, CEO, Itel

Anwar Hassan is CEO of Ixtel UAE, which is a leading digital service company, providing a broad range of services and
solutions in strategy consulting digital technology and operations.
He has worked in the sale, marketing, business development, and customer relations and has a track record of
achievement in improving revenue generation and profitability across a range of industries, including government,
financial services, energy, airlines & logistics, and conglomerates. With 19+ years of sales management experience
in the ICT industry, focused on long-term revenue contribution, customer satisfaction, and increased market share from
integrated artificial intelligence, big data, cybersecurity & digital transformation products, services, and solution
offerings. Significant experience in developing successful sales organizations geared to generate new business through a
high-activity sales & marketing platform in a team and partner-based environment.

• Engr. Ammar Hasan, Head of Projects, VFG


Syed Ammar Hasan holds a PEC-accredited Bachelors Degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Ammar has over 10
years of experience in the Business Process Outsourcing industry working independently as well as leading teams of up
to 20 members over various projects in several verticals. Ammar has a diversified project experience in several regions
including Pakistan, Middle East & North Africa, Europe, and North America. He is currently serving as the Head of
Projects at VentureForce Global, Karachi. In past, he has worked with large Telecommunications giants such as PTCL &
Etisalat. He is currently pursuing MS leading to Ph.D. in Computer Engineering with majors in Data Engineering and
Information Management. Ammar has about 5 years of practical industry-based work experience with Enterprise
Resource Planning Software.

 Syed Farhan Shajahan, Head of BPO Operations (Offshore market), VFG

Syed Farhan Shajahan has over 12 years of experience predominantly in Offshore Markets including the USA and
Canada. Farhan is an Accountant by profession, having done a Master's in Business Administration with majors in
Finance. He has a diversified portfolio of managing more than 700 US-based clients from industries including but not
limited to Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Services, and Trading. He has led teams of up to 50 people collectively working
for the Offshore market. Farhan also has a brief working experience in the UAE market as an Operations Manager at
VentureForce Global, Inc. He is currently serving as the Head of BPO Operations (Offshore market) at VentureForce
Global, Inc.

 Muhammad Kashif, VAT Unit Head, VFG

Mr. Muhammad Kashif has been working as a VAT unit head for Skyline tax consultancy from Karachi and has experience
working in UAE as a VAT Consultant as well. He has also worked as assistant manager accounts in Textile Channel,
Checkout supervisor & office partner at Waitrose, along with he has served the finance department of Faysal bank as
well. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from London College of Business Studies along with this he
is also part-qualified ACCA. In all his jobs he has proved himself through his strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
He can manage major tasks and projects using his strong management and interpersonal skills.

• Insiya Abbas, Visiting Faculty, NED University

Insiya Abbas is higher education teaching certified educationist qualified as an MBA(HRM) from the Institute of Business
Management and holds a PEC-accredited Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from NED UET. She carries 10+ years
of professional experience in leading HR, 360° talent acquisition, soft skills development, digital footprint, and corporate
communications in industries as BPO, digital media, IT, telecommunication, and educational technology working with
companies as Ventureforce Global, PTCL, Ufone, The First R Educational Consultancy, Enomsoft, and IncisiveSoft LLC
USA. She has volunteered as a career counselor in 15+ reputed academic institutions of Pakistan including IBA, IoBM,
Szabist, FAST-NUCES, and pro-actively worked in developing strategic liaison with professional accountancy institutions
of Pakistan as ACCA, ICMA, and ICAP. She has won awards in technical writing on international forums of ICT and has
contributed to distinguished DAWN newspaper. She carries proven experience of successful career development in the
areas of soft skills underlying job success and Human Resource Management

• Nadeem Amir Ali, Head of Internal Audit

Nadeem Amir Ali is currently working as head of Internal Audit while having experience in the following roles including
Credit Risk Review, System and Application Controls, Operating Lease, Recovery Process, Business Control, Collections,
Disbursements, Administration, and Branch Audits. He holds an MBA degree along with ACMA certification and has 10+
years of work experience

• M. Faisal Bhatti, Supply Chain Manager, BASF

M. Faisal Bhatti is currently working as a supply chain manager and has experience of nearly two decades in the
corporate world. At BASF Pakistan he is partnering with 12 business units operating under 3 business models. He has
also worked as B2B Account Manager, Territory Manager Retail, Performance Consultant, and Sales & Customer
Operation Team Lead in Shell Pakistan. He also has experience as Assistant Manager Marketing Services in Coca-Cola
Beverages Pakistan and Client Service Executive in Prestige Communications.

• Nasir Vohra, Teacher

Nasir Vohra is experienced in teaching for nearly 15 years, he has taught at renowned places including Tabanis school of
accounting, Al-Hamd academy, Escribir college of advanced studies, and Anees Hussain school of excellence. He holds a
rich educational background with ACCA and CMA certifications, along with masters and bachelor's in economics. He has
expertise in accounting courses including financial accounting, management accounting, financial reporting, and
business math & statistics.
