My current business is an ukay-ukay. These ukay-ukay are just a few pieces of clothing.

I asked
my aunt who is an owner of an ukay-ukay store (the one that I featured in one of the activities
in this course) if ever I could get some of her products and sell it in our barangay. And she’s
okay with it.
I started venturing this kind of business 5 months after the pandemic. I think that I need to do
something for me to earn money while staying in our house.
Actually I don’t have any money that I invest in this business because every time that my aunt is
going to open a new item I have to choose first and bring it to our house and sell it to the
people around our area. My aunt gives me the price of each item and it is my choice what price
I would set in each item. Sometimes I earn two thousand and sometimes five hundred
depending to the item I am selling. Like this current product that I have. I am selling a men’s
pants and through this item I already earned ₱2,250.00. The starting price that my aunt gave
me is ₱100.00 and then I sell it for about ₱250.00 each. I already sold 15 pieces of pants that’s
why I earned ₱2,250.00 already. And each pants that I have been sold out I have to give the
capital to my aunt.
