Right I'm afraid it's rant time. Chosen subject= Jane Bennet (Pride And Prejudice)

Okay, firstly, Just because she's the oldest and the most beautiful of the five kids does NOT make up
for her COMPLETE lack of decent personality! I mean She is the most fitting to the High standards
in Modesty and passivity that her society holds as important to women and while at the time this
may have been endearing i can now conclude... it definitely is not.

While she is the complete opposite of her outspoken sister (who FYI i also don't like) The contrast
makes her appear even more bland and BORING!! She doesn't stand up for herself. She sees the
good in everyone ( which is not a bad thing necessarily) but when taken to the extent that she is
even unwilling to think badly of Wickham Who first tries to elope with her little sister Lydia ( after
proposing to Elizabeth!) And THEN living with her OUT OF WEDLOCK! God she should have
been furious!! they would've brought complete on the family if Darcy hadn't paid him off! Ooh she
is way too sickly sweet.

And all that crap with letting Miss Bingley fool her into thinking she was her friend then stabbing
her in the back by backing the marriage of Mr Bingley and Georgia Darcy!! she wouldn't open her
eyes and see it even when it was right there in front of her face. She is too afraid to see the god
damn world as it is. She'd rather live in her little fantasies and then everyone feels sorry for her
when her pretty little world falls down around her ankles!!

She has everything handed to her at the start of the book she does nothing and ends up getting the
eligible and quite rich Mr Bingley to fall 'In Love' with her but that love runs sooo deep for her
bland and boring sickly sweet personality that it just takes a few words from his friend Mr Darcy to
convince him she doesn't care for him! if she had even an ounce of ... ANYTHING ... in her
personality or temper she'd have kicked his arse right into shape and made clear to HIM that she
loves him from the off.

humph.

Rant over. Join in next time when i shall be complaining about Lydia Bennet (<< grrr!) and every
other horrible character in that horrible book! Why is this her most renowned book?? All the
characters are horrible. humph.
You know what, it's time for a Jennifer Rant. You haven't had one in a while.

Todays subject: Lydia And Mrs Bennet.

Right first off; who the hell do they think they are?? i mean They are not rich they are not in the
same league as the Bingleys, and certainly not Mr Darcy! Yet they presume that they can try and
make matches between them!

Aargh for god sake that horrible Mrs Bennet is soo embarassing! If she was my mum and she
embarrassed me the way she did Elizabeth and Jane, especially at the Netherfield Ball I'd have bitch
slapped her ass across that room! Singing Janes praises being so presumptuous as to think they
wanted to hear it, not giving them the respect that she should, I mean they are rich!

And the way she treats Lydia is deplorable! God that lassie gets everything she wants she is treated
like a spoiled brat, allowed to go gallivanting off down to Blackpool with the army to go slagging
herself about all the soldiers and live with people she barely know. And How did this work out???
The stupid girl ran off to 'elope' but ended up just living out of wedlock with the man who'd just
previously been all over her older sister!

She'd have brought no end of shame on the family by her attention seeking ways had it not been for
Mr Darcy Paying him off!! And when she came back from her wedding she had the cheek to boast
about being bloody higher up than Jane and Elizabeth and how Jane would have to step aside and
let her be the woman who took them to parties etc. because she is married!! god what a vain selfish
horrible idiotic attention seeking brat!

And Mrs Bennet, her mum, deserved all she got by lydia's bad behaviour! She should be a better
mother!! God!!

Humph.
