In order to find the percentage of a number you need to


multiply the Base and the Rate using the formula.

Percentage = Base x Rate

Example:
To change this percent to

from the percent sign going to
Base = 90 the left then put the decimal
Rate = 15% (0.15) point.

Percentage = 90 x 0.15 90
Percentage = 13.50 x 0.15
