Mercy was assigned to an Aundarian Cleric named


Criminal Contact: Glaive, M warforged. Glaive is Mercy's poc
Adrien ir’Palourde. She was initially imprinted to be a
bodyguard with Aundarian specifications, a focus on light
between herself and the other Blades within Sharn. The Blades
armor and finesse weapons. Because of this, Adrien know who Mercy is, but have strict orders to not contact her and
named her Misericorde, both because of the well known
dagger used to puncture ancient plate armor and to treat her like a stranger if encountered.

During the last war, she would travel with Adrien and his
combat unit. Specifically she assisted in casualty Favor +8 (Brie +10, Bull +10, Gilll +6)
retrieval and protection of wounded Aundarian soldiers.
In the closing years of the Last War, she fought on the See Mercy Doc in Google for breakdown
Thaliost front, attempting to retake the city from Thrane.
One night, an assassin infiltrated the camp. Mercy
detected him, fought him, but was defeated and left for
dead. She abruptly awoke to Adrien casting healing word
on her body, just before the assassin plunged his knife
into the Cleric’s back and ended his life. Mercy swore
revenge, but was never able to locate the assassin. Two
days after Adrien’s death, the War was ended and the
Treaty of Thronehold began its discussions.

When Mercy was told she was free to do as she wished,


she joined with resistance fighters in Thaliost. There they
launched a number of terrorist attacks, but when their cell
was located, they used Mercy as their scapegoat. She
would have been executed were it not for a sympathetic
ear in the form of her Thranish guard, a fellow warforged ADDITIONAL FEATURES & TRAITS
by the name of Pike. The two planned to escape to the
Mournlands, where they had heard rumors of a
Warforged trying to set up a community just for the
Warforged. They escaped as fugitives and were almost
caught just before they made their escape into the
Mournlands. Their would be captors abandoned the
chase, thinking them dead. It took them several months,
but they finally found what they were looking for, the
encampment of a warforged calling himself the Lord of
Blades. Upon joining, Pike changed his name to Glaive,
to reflect his commitment to the Lord, but Mercy kept her
given name, reasoning “I was named after a blade. This
was always my destiny.”

Now Mercy works as an undercover agent for the Lord of


Blades, sowing mistrust and trying to subtly recruit more
warforged to the cause. She had been operating in
Sharn for a few months, when she received a lead from
an informant telling her that a newly contracted group of
investigators had stumbled upon some kind of House
Cannith plot. The Lord instructed her to infiltrate the
group, discover what they knew, and turn them into a
catspaw for further plans.
