Cam when speed ratios are very critical,these devices are used
conversion of rotation of cam into reciprocating motion or oscillatory motion

By changing the profile of cam,we can acquire different ratios of velocity

since it's very costly used wherever great level of accuracy in terms of
time is required as in the case of IC engine
