This sample template is to be used in conjunction with the ASTM Author Instructions and
provided on the paper submission site. Your manuscript must include the following information.
Required formatting
Please submit your manuscript in a Microsoft Word format; single-column, 12 point Times New
Roman font with 1-inch margins. If you have used LaTex to create your manuscript, please
upload a PDF version as the main document and your LaTex files as supplementary material.

be double-spaced throughout.
Every reference must be called out in the text, i.e., “the length of the wire is always
copper and must be at least 10mm in length.”1 For GTJ authors ONLY, please check the ASTM
Style Manual for the preferred Bibliographic Author/Date Style. All other authors should use this
