“PLANTS: Planting in times of Lockdown and Nurture Terrain in
Surroundings”

Green “Plant and protect a tree like you do for a child”

To plant and grow different varieties of indigenous and endemic

reduce plants and trees and to sustain environmental consciousness and action
among parents and learners and the community, instilling the values of
unity, teamwork and sense of volunteerism through planting is the main
reuse objective of Banyaga National High School’s SIGA Program.
Due to Taal Volcanic eruption last January 12, 2020, most of the
plants inside the school campus were greatly affected, making Banyaga
recycle National High School looked barren and gray.
Spearheaded by the School Head, Mrs. Ellen P. Toldanes, in
compliance to DepEd’s National Greening Program, varities of San
Mother
earth
Francisco plants were initially planted on the 1 st week of November.
Followed by planting of coffee, guyabano, calamansi and lagundi trees
in all available spaces inside the school campus on the 2 nd week.
