Prince Jone Pagas

1. Self-Introduction (200-250 points).

I am Prince Jone Pagas and I live in Blgy 8. Poblacion Quezon Bukidnon. I

graduated from Central Mindanao University with the course Bachelor of Science in
Information Technology. I was born on May 29, 1995, in +Tagbilaran Bohol City. I was
the only child of Jose Tan Jr. and Ann Pagas. My mother runs out of their wedding so,
I'm using my mother's family name. I'm currently living with my grandparents since 17
days old.
My hobbies in life include playing online games, watching anime and Korean
dramas. I don't drink alcoholic drinks and smoke cigarettes. I don't drink coffee and milk.
My favorite basketball team is The Miami heat and, my favorite player is Dwayne "The
Flash" Wade. My favorite boy bands are Backstreetboys, Westlife, A1, Boyzone,
NSYNC, MLTR, and Boys II Men.
My family's source of income is farming. My great grandparents provided at least
10 hectares of farming land for their children since they want their children to stay near
them. The products that we are growing in our fields are sugarcanes and rubber trees.
The reason that I enrolled in Professional Education is to become an educator
someday. I want to encourage students to pursue and achieve their dreams. I also believe
that dreams will never die because some may fail and stop dreaming but, there will be
someone who will appear and continue dreaming.

2. In a ten- sentence paragraph, what are your expectations from this subject? Your
instructor?

My expectation about this subject is that I will be able to learn new things from
this subject. I'm also expecting that this subject will give us new ideas to make lessons
easier. I am hoping that this subject will enhance our basic knowledge about the software
used in teaching. Since technology is frequently changing, I'm hoping that this subject
will help me cope with changes. I'm also hoping that anything that I learned from this
 subject will be in line with teaching. I hope that this subject will help us distinguish the
application to use with different tasks.

As for the instructor, I'm expecting that the teacher will help us grasp some new
knowledge. The instructor will understand the students enrolled in this subject since they
are still learning various techniques in dealing with different tasks. I hope that the
instructor shows us a pleasing personality during the whole summer class. I'm also
hoping that the instructor will be friendly and approachable.

3. What is your level of knowledge and skills in ICT in terms of

3.1. MS WORD- I think I would give myself an 8 since I have the knowledge about
MS WORD and I’m here willing to learn more. I know mostly the buttons here in MS
WORD. I’m more familiar with MS WORD since I used it quite a lot in college.

3.2. MS EXCEL- I think I’m going to give myself a 5. I only used this application a
few times during college. I’m not quite good with formulas so I’m really expecting to
learn more during this semester.

3.3. POWERPOINT – I think, I’m going to give myself an 8. Use it a lot during
reporting in college. It is much easier than MS EXCEL.

3.4. INTERNET – I think, I’m going to give myself a perfect 10. I can easily give a
10 since my hobby includes net surfing. I can easily search, download files using
internet.
