A. Describe your intention in attending Philippine Normal University.

My intention of entering Philippine Normal University is to become a competitive and
productive teacher in the near future. I may be able to fulfill this dream in this prestigious
institution that offers quality education. Moreover, I must be a hardworking student to be
able to finish my studies here at PNU. To be one of the students of this school is the first
step of my dreams to be a teacher like my mother. My mother and I are always having
conversation about what am I going to take in the college. I told her that I’m going to pursue
education course. I know that this institution provides a world class quality education; the
best environment in the learning process. Hence, this will surely help and take me to my
dreams in life. I am eager to learn, explore and to wonder things that will be experienced
once in a lifetime. Thus, it will be in this institution can lead me on the right track to be an
educator. To do so, I am willing to work hard and be formed.

B. PNU’s mission is to nurture innovative teachers and education leaders. Describe how
you will contribute to this mission as a PNU student.
They said “KABATAAN ANG PAG-ASA NG BAYAN” but nowadays the youth are in their
own direction of life. They are confronted by many unnecessary activities and objects that
makes them distracted from their true potentials and goals. As a student contributing to
PNU’s mission, I first start in self-discipline, because I believe discipline is an essential
aspect of an individual’s life. Having discipline assures us that through our journey of
learning we will arrive to best way of progress. Thus, I will submit and commit myself in
nurturing myself to be innovation and responsive to the challenges of our time; through the
standards given by this institution for me to become efficient education leader. Furthermore,
I entrust myself to this institution that these may be achieve.

C. What are your academic interests and the degree program you want to take in
PNU?
The degree that I want to pursue is Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in Physical and
Health Education. I always wanted to be a PE major student of your school, because I am
aware that it provides the best education and environment for both graduate and post
graduate student. I believe that your university is one of the best school that I’ve ever seen
and I trust, with your assistance, I can do all my best to achieve my dreams. Education
gives way for us to have a good career and as we study hard we have plenty of chances to
work at any workplace we wish.

D. Describe the skill/s (e.g. leadership, communicative, analytical) you possess.

When I was in elementary my mother always involve me to dancing. From then on I
became fond of it and I discover that I can dance. Furthermore as I continued my primary
and secondary studying I discover that am also inclined in musical abilities, in problem
solving and identifying geometrical shapes, in socializing with other people and in caring for
plants. From the given abilities I can conclude that I also have a fine knowledge of myself.
However, I still need some guidance to know more about myself. Hence I trust this
institution to provide me with adequate tools to hone myself and to discover even more
things about myself.
