Simple Present Tense Present

• One of the usage for Simple Present Tense is to talk about the NOW
• Now means in the timeline, it is happening currently.
• For Simple Present Tense, it follows this formula:

Subject + Verb + Complement

• In a sentence subject will be divided into two categories : Singular and
Plural.
• What is Singular Subject?
• Singular/ Single means ONE
• For singular subject, the Verb must have ‘s’ / ‘es’ added at the
end.
• Identifying Singular Subject – The subject would not have ‘s’ at
the end of it.

• One of the usage for Simple Present Tense is to talk about the things
that are TRUE.
• Simple Present Tense is use when talking about Facts.
• For Simple Present Tense, it follows this formula:

Plural.
• What is Plural Subject?
• Plural means MORE THAN ONE
• Unlike Singular Subject, for Plural Subject, no ‘s’ / ‘es’ added to
the verb.

it.

• Adjectives are words that helps to add description to the object or
