I. Experience
a. Public Relations Chairman, Kappa Kappa Gamma: 2009 –
2010
1. Manage social media sites, including Micro Website, Twitter and Facebook, for sorority with
300 active members
2. Assisted Website Designer in creating a Micro Website to establish better relations with
parents, active members, alumni, and community members
3. Manage public relations throughout campus and within Greek life and prepare press releases
for philanthropy events
4. Track all chapter activities to prepare for "Award of Excellence" and plan "Kappa Acts of
Kindness" community events
5. Completed various community service projects, including: Holcomb Elementary Festival,
Kappa con Queso, Battle of the Bands, March McMadness, Kappa Klassic golf tournament,
Washington Elementary Tutor and Adopt a Highway
b. Public Relations Chairman, GAMMA: January 2011-Present
1. Responsibilities include advertising events, increasing awareness and participation of such
events, and promoting GAMMA throughout the University of Arkansas campus year round
c. Director of Campus Safety, ASG Executive Cabinet: August 2010-May 2011
1. Improve marketing plan for Campus Safety by promoting safety reports and issues
2. Work with UAPD to create better freshman programming and to conduct campus walk-
throughs
3. Distributed SafeRide promotional items and created a Campus Safety Map
4. Collaborated with Vice President to advocate Safety Awareness during Welcome Week
5. Member of Safe Ride Committee, Public Safety Council, and Campus Safety Committee

II. Initiatives
a. Improve visibility of ASG throughout campus
1. Increase the use of social media sites
i. Use twitter as a link between Administration and students
ii. Create an efficient system where students can ask questions or pose concerns through
twitter
2. Improve communication between all ASG branches
i. Blog or special website created for the use of all ASG members
a) Exec, Cabinet, Senate, and ASGJ will all have access to chat among each other,
discuss initiatives or legislation, etc
3. Increase awareness by advertising progress of ASG initiatives
i. Reaching out to athletes, RSOs, Greek Life, and international students.
a) Share the ASG Insider to these different parts of campus
b) Allow everyone to be an “insider”
c) Add new sections to the Insider
d) Spotlight alumni of ASG
4. Reach out to the Northwest Arkansas community
5. Make freshman a priority; targeting information concerning the structure of ASG
i. Guerrilla marketing to freshman; what is ASG and how can I get involved?
b. Promote a better relationship between the President and Vice President with
students
1. Plan meet and greets events where students can come informally talk to the President and
Vice President about what they are currently working on, allow for students to offer
suggestions and express concerns
2. Increase visibility between the Treasurer and RSOs
i. Serve as a communication tool between the two to enhance their communication and
relationship. Also, share updates from all RSO activities throughout ASG.
c. Restructure Fresh H.O.G.S.
1. Transition from a developmental program sponsored by ASG to a program that serves as a
more functional part of student government.
i. Freshman orientation will serve as an integral part of recruitment and cultivating
knowledge of ASG and leadership involvement opportunities
ii. Program will offer more personal development for freshman
2. Base program off of the Fish Aides Program at Texas A&M
i. Improvements in Executive Structure, Recruitment, Selection Process, and Program
Structure (3 phase program)
a) Phase 1: Personal/Leadership Development
i) This is where we will take the time for the Fresh H.O.G.S. to get to know each
other
b) Phase 2: The inner workings of ASG
i) Learn all about ASG and its different components
c) Phase 3: Committee Placement
i) Members would be placed on a committee to become actively involved in ASG
