A. Content Standard The learners demonstrate an understanding of the relation of geographical location of the Philippines to its
environment.
B. Performance Standard The learners shall be able to analyze the advantage of the location of the Philippines in relation to the climate,
weather, and seasons.
C. Learning Competency The learners should be able to demonstrate how places on Earth may be located using a coordinate system; S7ES-
(Write the LC code for each) IVa-1.
D. Objectives
a. Differentiate latitude from longitude.
b. Identify the cities / countries based on the given latitude and longitude.
c. Realize the importance of knowing the location of the Philippines.

The class will be divided into six. Each group will think of words, phrases or concepts related to the word assigned
to them and will say it to the class. They will guess the word being described by the other groups.
Words that will be assigned are the following:

5. longitude
6. latitude
