C. Learning Competency The learners should be able to demonstrate how places on Earth may be located using a coordinate system; S7ES-
(Write the LC code for each) IVa-1.

a. Differentiate latitude from longitude.
b. Identify the cities / countries based on the given latitude and longitude.
c. Realize the importance of knowing the location of the Philippines.

TASK 1. SAY SOMETHING!

The class will be divided into six. Each group will think of words, phrases or concepts related to the word assigned
to them and will say it to the class. They will guess the word being described by the other groups.
Words that will be assigned are the following:
A. Reviewing previous lesson or 1. globe
presenting the new lesson 2. world map
3. equator
4. prime meridian
5. longitude
6. latitude

Connect the ideas presented by them to the new lesson.
