VAGEDC Suite

This was inspired by a post by Diesel Johnny that can be found here:

This method might not always work but if you do not have WinOLS
and this method works on your ecu, it can be very handy.
If you have WinOLS this helps you find the address ;-)

DO NOT ALTER PID MAPS IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO

The EDC15P ECU structure is as follows:
 PID ( I ) Map (16x1)
 PID ( D ) Map (16x1)
 Boost Pressure Target (10x16)
 PID ( P ) Map (16x1)

Because VAGEDC Suite uses signature bytes ,it finds a lot of maps
which it does not categorize but it does allow you to edit.

The PID Maps will be found under UNKNOWN Maps.

The PID Maps are 16x1

I am using the following ECU in this document:

MODEL : 038906019PJ
PN : 0281015432
ASZ (130 bhp/310 Nm)
Step 1. Get the address of the boost target.

Now click address until is sorts the addresses in an ascending manor. (low to high)
Find the maps before the target
Look in this area for a 16x1 map.
PID (I) Map
Continue to next 16x1 map
PID (D) Map
Continue to next 16x1 map which should be higher than the target
PID ( P ) Map

Congratulations
You have found the three PID Controller maps
