GANTT CHART

Analysis
Gantt chart is helps us to plan and analyse the mot complex project giving potential to plan and
schedule tasks, by allocating all the resources and develop a critical pathway of a project. Here
in Gantt chart, we can see that all the activities are aligned. It represents all the task and we can
come to know that after which activity we will perform other activity. The chart consists of
horizontal and vertical lines which intersect each other and representing measurement of days.
Here in the above Gantt Chart, we see that 11 activities there, and through that the activities
are assigned as per the task. When the activity 1 will get completed and the other activity 2 will
get started. In the sequence all the activities will perform. Through Gantt chart we can also
came to know that which activity use to take maximum time. As activity 8 and 9 consumes
maximum time usage.

NETWORK DIAGRAM

Analysis
From the above network diagram, we can see that all the activities are interconnected with each
other. All the activities are aligned in a sequence form. When completion of activity 1 is done
then the other activity will take place according to the activities which are assigned. In the
above mention chart, we can see the activities which are there in the red box are critical
activities and in the blue activities are non-critical activities. In this project the task uses to start
with extrusion and it ends with the storage. The network diagram will help us to the overall
start time and finish time. When activity 1 will not use any of the time of other activities. The
other activities are coincided with other.

PROJECT SUMMARY

Analysis
From the above-mentioned picture, we came to know that the project of bag manufacturing
will be completed in 20 days. There are 2 work resources which are utilised, and 6 material
resources are utilised. So, the total 8 resources are utilised in this project. The starting date of
the project is 1st June 2021 and the finish date of the project is 28th June 2021. The total work
schedule is 276 hours in which all the assigned activities will get completed. The total cost of
the whole project will be Rs.1,42,300.00.

CRITICAL TASK REPORT

Analysis
Critical path means the longest duration path between the first activity and the last activity of
a project. In the above project there are 7 critical activities are seen. The activity numbers which
show critical path activity 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. From this we can also came to know that we
are not able to delay any of the activity. Here delay is not allowed. As after completion of 3rd
activity immediately 4th activity will take into action. As all the activities are dependent on
each other. Here all the successor unit of activity is only assigned. When activity 2nd will
complete then only the other activity will take place.

TASK USAGE REPORT

Analysis
In task usage we came to know utilisation of maximum and minimum resources. Through this
report we can also get to know that where we have to allocate more resources. By this report
we can also be able to complete our project with the optimum utilisation of resources. As in
the above chart we see that maximum labour and project manager utilised in the task of
inspection and burst test. The maximum utilisation of labour is seen in extrusion, printing and
storing.

Analysis of Pareto Chart


In pareto chart analysis we can find out 80% of customers complaints arise from the 20% of
the products. On the other side 20% of the products and give 80% profit to the company. The
project manager needs to focus on the 20% of the things which really matters. The 20% crucial
task of the project needs to be done. The output of that 20% produces 80% of the results. So,
from the above pareto chart we can analyse that 20% of the cases are causing 80% of the
problems and where the improvement is required must be focused. So here we need to focus
more on the dissatisfy customer service, delivery delay and defective products needs to be
improved.

LEARNINGS
• Through this project we get learning about how to design the project.
• As we can also learn about how to calculate critical path and PERT and Quality
Management.
• In this project the thought process is also expanded as how the project manager use to
allocate all the task and take decisions is known.
• By this project we also came to know that in which task maximum resources used so that
the resources will not get wasted.
• The above project also helps to calculate the budget of the whole project.
• Through this project we can also came to know the optimum utilisation of the task usage.
• Through this project we are also able to calculate Pareto Chart.
• By this proper analysis of Pareto chart is done and we can also find out where the
improvement is required.
• Here we also find out that how the project manager uses to work and what are the resources
used and how everything works in an alignment.
