STUDENT ENROLMENT

Students who have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Diploma Holders in engineering and +2 Vocational Certificate Holders are
eligible to enrol. Student has to enrol with Board of Apprenticeship Training in order to become eligible for Apprenticeship Training. Students
can login and check status, Job opportunities, advertisements once enrolled.
A maximum of 3 years 3months time is applicable for a student to apply/enrol from the date of finishing his Bachelors in Engineering, Diploma
or +2 Vocational.

Students are required to have the following information:

1. Student should have his University / Polytechnic / State Board of Higher Secondary School Education Registration Number
2. % of Marks or CGPA obtained in Degree/Diploma/+2 is mandatory
3. University/College Name is mandatory
4. Branch of Study with month and year of passing is mandatory
5. Unique ID number is optional

Following are the steps involved in enrolment:
Step 1 : Enter www.mhrdnats.gov.in in a web browser.
Step 2 : After the Home page appears click on “Register” in the Menu bar.

Step 3 : A drop down list with Student, Institute and Establishment will appear. Select “Student” and click “Register”.

Step 4 : Enrolment Type:
a) In the “Enrolment Type” a drop down list of Graduates, Diploma & Vocational will appear.
b) Select the required category (Student’s Educational Qualification)

Step 5 : Apprentice Requirement (Students Educational Details)
a) Fill in the Students Educational details like Name of the College/School, Name of the University/Board, Branch of
Engineering/Vocational Course and University Registration/ State Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Registration
Number etc.
b) The Student should enter the % of Marks or CGPA.
c) The Student should enter the +2/Diploma Registration No/Roll number (for Graduate students), DOTE/ DTE Registration No
and 10th STD Registration No (for Diploma students).

Step 6 : Personal information and Choice of Cities
a) Fill in all personal details like Name of the Student, Father’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Community etc.
b) Select cites from the drop down list from own choice where to undergo the training.

Step 7 : Contact Information (Address and Email Id)
a) Fill in all personal details and correspondence address of the student
b) Email Mandatory only for Degree/Diploma & optional for +2 Vocational student, please do not change the Email id as
communication will be primarily through email-id.
c) A Unique email id should be given and it cannot be changed.

Step 8 : Ensure all the details entered are correct. If corrections are to be made the student can click previous and change the necessary information.

Step 10: System generated User ID and Password:

Student get the User ID and Password in his registered email ID (Kindly check the spam folder if did not find email in the Inbox).
Student may find Job Openings, Advertisements etc. in the home page.
After Enrollment Student may login and use the facilities available in the National Portal.
Establishments who are interested to select the student enrolled with the portal will contact the student by email.
