WHAT DISH CAN YOU MAKE?

Making a Mango Pickle.

Take some tender mangoes and wash them well. Slice
them into small pieces and mix them with salt. Keep
the mixture aside for six to eight hours. This is for
letting the mango slices absorb salt. After that, heat
some oil in a pan, add a little mustard, curry leaves
and chilly powder. Add the mango slices into the pan
when the oil is hot. Add some pickle powder and heat
the mixture for some time. Mango pickle is ready.

Prepare a dish and describe the process of making it.

Bun replied,
‘You are doubtless very big;
But all sorts of things and weather
Must be taken in together,
To make up a year
And a sphere.
And I think it no disgrace
If I’m not so large as you,
You are not so small as I,
And not half so spry.
I’ll not deny you make
A very pretty squirrel track;
Talents differ; all is well and wisely put;
If I cannot carry forests on my back,
Neither can you crack a nut.’

Latitudes are the imaginary angles measured on the surface of the Earth
from its centre. The longest latitudinal line along the middle of the
globe is the Equator .It is the Oo latitude. The lines drawn parallel to
the equator are Latitudinal circles. The diameter of the latitudinal
circles decreases towards the poles. The equator divides the globe
into two hemispheres.

The lines connecting both the poles on the globe are called longitudes. O o and 180o
are the important longitudes. O o Longitude is called Standard Greenwich Meridian
and 180o Longitude is called International Date Line. There are 180 0 longitudes on
either side of the Standard Meridian. The longitudes along the eastern hemisphere
are called East Longitudes.

The letter 'E' indicates this line.

Eg: 15 degree E, 45 degree E

The longitudes along the Western hemisphere are called West longitude. The letter
'W' indicates this line.

Eg: 15 degree W, 45 degree W

Let’s go through the Expense
Joseph wants to make a compost pit in his house with 4 metres length, 3 metres breadth and 2
metres depth. The contractor said that the cost to remove one cubic metre of soil is Rs. 1200.

1 cubic metre of soil removed from

the pit means 1 metre length,
1 metre breadth
and 1 metre depth of soil.

If so, calculate
the amount needed to
make the compost pit.

Help Joseph calculate the expense.
