CONTENT STANDARD
The learner demonstrates understanding of the concepts in planning a health career.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
The learner prepares an appropriate plan of action in pursuing a health career.
I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the session, the student should be able to do the following:
a. Identify the importance of planning a health career.
b. discuss the components and steps in making a personal health career health plan.
c. prepare a personal health career following the prescribed components and
steps.

Topic: Planning for a Health Career
IV. PROCEDURE
A. Introduction
Greetings!
Opening prayer and checking of attendance.
Review on the last topic in Health which is Health Trend, Issues and concern in global level. Ask the
students to cite some issues and problems discussed last meeting and health services that are
mentioned who are responsible in handling these issues.
B. Motivation
SING ALONG!
Together with the students, the teacher will lead the singing of HEAL THE WORLD as a tribute to
COVID 19 health workers.
Guide Questions:
1. How did you feel about the activity?
2. Who among you are interested in pursuing health career?
C. LESSON PROPER

SAY THE COLOR CHALLENGE!
The teacher will present a short video and the students will have to identify the color of the word not
the word itself.

The students will list as many words associated with the picture inside the circle.

organize your goals into smaller steps, identify actions for each step, utilize helpful people and
