NOTICE INVITING TENDERS

Sealed tender based on Items/Percentage rate (as per DNIT) for the following works are
hereby invited from the approved Contractors / firms which are enlisted / renewed with HUD & PHE
Department for the year 2021-22 and fee have been deposited with the Department, and also havin g
Registration Certificate issued by the Pakistan Engineering Council, (PEC) Islamabad for the year 2021-
22. The willing contractors/firms in the relevant category of PEC with specific code CE09 CE10 will submit
application for issuance of tender documents. Tenders shall be issued up to 03-08-2021during office hours
and received on 05-08-2021 up to 11:00 A.M and opened at 11.30 A.M on the same date in the office of
Director Development & Finance Bahawalpur Division Bahawalpur on fixed date by the respective tenders
opening committee in the presence of intending contractor or their representative with the following terms
and conditions:-

1. The Contractor / Firms are required to produce the Registration Certificate issued by the Pakistan Engineering
Council, (PEC) Islamabad for the year 2021-22.
2. Tenders received without CDR or with less amount of CDR will not be entertained.
3. The Earnest money will be received 3% of estimated/bid cost in shape of CDR.
4. No tender will be issued after due date.
5. The intending Tenders may get the tender documents issued from the Divisional Head Clerk PHED Bahawalpur
during office hour up to 03-08-2021 on payment of tender fee in the shape of Challan form No 32- A paid in NBP
Branch Bahawalpur. (only original challan form will be accepted)
6. Details / Particular of the work readily available and can be seen on any working day during office hours.
7. In case the total tendered amount is less than 5% of the approved estimate (DNIT) amount, the lowest bidder will
have to deposit additional performance security / quality guarantee equal to the tender amount below estimated
cost within 15 days of issuance of notice for deposit of additional performance security / quality guarantee as per
Finance Department Notification No. RO (Tech) FD-1-12/83 VI (P), dated 24-01-2006 read with No. RO (Tech)
FD1-12/2010 dated 04-09-2012 which will be returned on successful completion of the work/contract. The tender
will be cancelled with the forfeiture of earnest money without any further notice in case of failure to deposit
additional performance security.
8. Contractor should sign the every page of the bidding document. Failing which the tender is considered as
rejected.
9. All terms and conditions of tenders / contract documents shall be strictly followed.
10. Conditional tender / bid and tenders / bids received by post or through any other means shall not be accepted.
11. Work will be got completed strictly as per time limit mentioned against each.
12. All the bidders shall produce original documents and registered power of attorney in case of absence of original
contractor.
13. Procuring Agency may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal as per
PPRA Rules.
14. The contractor / firms are required to produce registration certificate issued by the Punjab Revenue Authority
(PRA), at the time of submission of application for issuance of tender form failing which tenders form will not be
issued.
