No, they feel that since 9/11 everything has changed, both for them and for the rest of the
world.
• Are American still concerned about terrorist threats?

Yes, because every day they live in fear and worry that at some point there will be another
attack and something similar or even worse could happen.
• How have Muslims and Americans’ lives changed after the 9-11 events?
Muslims feel very discriminated against at all times and live in great fear because of the
killings that have taken place within Muslim communities, and Americans have become
suspicious.
• What is the American government doing to reduce the threat feelings of the
community?
Conservatives and liberals are in constant battle debating whether Muslims should be
expelled or not and the laws have become especially difficult for them.
• What is the opinion of some politicians about war after 9-11?
They chose to promote Islamophobia which Americans accepted regardless of increased
security spending.

• Have Americans overcome the 9/11 event?

Americans remain concerned because of the attacks of 9/11; they feel fear when they go out
of their homes every day.

• Are Americans still concerned about territory threats?

Before the 9/11 attack, Americans felt safe; nowadays they still remember the fear and
think that every day they are preparing for the next attack.
• How have Muslims' and Americans' lives changed after the 9/11 events?

Life has become difficult for Muslims in the USA because half of Americans think that
they promote violence; after 9/11, hate attacks and discrimination towards Arabs and
Muslims increased.

• What is the American government doing to reduce the threat feeling of the
community?

The government has toughened immigration laws, especially for Muslims. It's searching for
strategies to guarantee the country´s security.

• What is the opinion of some politicians about war after 9/11?

During Donald Trump's bell and mandate, he promoted Islamophobia. Americans accepted
higher expenses for their safety.

• Have Americans overcome the 9-11 events?


RTA: They have not overcome the attack since it left psychological consequences, fear and
concern to American and Muslim residents.

• Are American still concerned about terrorist threats?


RTA: Yes, since they feel they can suffer a similar attack again.

• How have Muslims and Americans’ lives changed after the 9-11 events?
RTA: the lives of both Americans and Muslims are not the same as Muslims suffer from
discretion as they are associated with terrorism
• What is the American government doing to reduce the threat feelings of the
community?
RTA: the government wants to expel Muslims and Arabs because they think they are
terrorists and dangerous for the country

• What is the opinion of some politicians about war after 9-11?


RTA: promote hatred of Americans towards Muslims by promoting their safety
