Item Description
THIS IS A FIXED PRICE CONTRACT.
Any quantity included is approximate and is inserted to establish rate
for the described item.
The contractor or his representative is invited to visit the site to
ascertain the prevailing conditions and establish quantities.

All items necessary to complete the works must be included in the

rate as no adjustments will be made to the final submitted figure.

All installations must be in compliance with the manufacturer's

specifications and must not void manufacturer's warranties.

All items supplied by Total have to be collected/loaded from Total's

Warehouse by the Contractor or his Representative and transported
to the site at his own expense, without any damage.

All paint colours/finishes must meet Total's standard. To ensure this

all colours/finishes must be approved by the Engineer prior to
purchase.
ALL DEBRIS must be removed from site at end of works.

A TOTEM
1 Disconnect electricals; examine integrity of sign structure safely; item
Take down existing totem using appropriate equipment/craneage
and transport to Total Storage Facility at Brighton Beach. Each
vertical column should be removed independently to avoid
damage to person or property.
2 Supply and install totem base adapter as directed by Engineer. item
Include provision for modification to existing concrete base if X
necessary.
3 Assemble, erect using appropriate craneage, and install new 6.5m item
T-Air Monopod with LED Price Display including all necessary
electrical installation and surge protection/voltage regulator. Test
and commission totem and price sign
4 Assemble, erect using appropriate craneage, and install new 9m T-
Air Monopod with LED Price Display including all necessary

7 Clean and prepare canopy ceiling for receiving paint. All loose paint, 228.00 m2
dirt and any other foreign matter must be removed prior to paint
application. Oil and grease shall be removed with approved
solvents. Apply (minimum) two coats Sherwin Williams White
Enamel paint or approved equivalent.

8 Clean all associated guttering on canopy repair or replace defective item

sections
9 Remove all old stickers (incl. warning decals and product decals) item
and paint canopy columns with Sherwin Williams White Enamel
Paint or approved equivalent
10 Provisional Sum for replacement/repair of defective canopy item
roof/ceiling
