1. Why do you want to join The ProdMan Club? (Word Limit: 250 words )

During college I was part of a CEG Motorsports which is a racing team of 32 people who
are responsible for the designing, procurement, vendor discovery, manufacturing and
testing of an All-Terrain vehicle. There I was responsible for all these processes and was
involved in the total life cycle of the product. Similarly while working at Rane NSK
steering systems in project management, I was leading the development of an export
project which had a shorter than usual lead time (usual lead time is 9-12 months and this
had only 6 months) and it also had 2 new processes which were not present in my plant at
that time and had to be established. Completing this project on time boosted my
confidence and reiterated my inclination towards planning and managing things. After
finishing my MBA, I would like to explore the product management area where I can
implement my analytical and interpersonal skills to solve corporate world problems. To
achieve these goals, I would need to have a thorough knowledge of the product
management domain. This is where I believe Prodman Club with its intellectual peer
group, great networking opportunities, various event and publication activities will help
me achieve my goals.

2. How would you increase the awareness about Product Management at IIM A? (Word Limit: 300
words)
Or
What is your favourite product? Provide reasons for the same (Word Limit: 150 Words)

My favourite product is Grammarly. Grammarly is a very useful tool which is available to use as
desktop application, website, browser extension, plugin to MS word and mobile application which
helps us to check spelling and grammar. It’s main USP is that the look and feel of the application
is similar across all interfaces. It is a simple text editor interface where user can either upload an
existing document or create a new one. Grammarly highlights the errors and suggest corrections as
the user types. The browser extension works little differently, where the errors are automatically
highlighted using colors and the suggestions are shown when user hover over the highlighted text.
Also, the application comes with a freemium model with basic capabilities as free and advanced
options like plagiarism checking, advanced grammar and tone check with a premium version.
