II. GENERAL INFORMATION

A. DESCRIPTION
Pursuant to the SCHOOL EDUCATION FUNDS Program implementation in the Department of
Education supported by RA 5447, the allocated funds will be utilized for any project in school like
the construction of Reading Lounge, construction of flower boxes, repair of ceilings, door jam and
door, construction of 2 sets of hand washing facility located near the school gate and LRMDS center
and repainting of school buildings and flower boxes that our learners will be benefited for the
project.

D. RATIONALE
Since reading is the most essential skills that a child should possess, construction of reading lounge will
provide learners with a hazard-free space for reading. Thus, construction of flower boxes, repair of
ceilings, door and door jams that is to provide learners with a safe and hazard-free classhome and
eventually attract learners, parents and stakeholders to enroll their children in our school that would help
increase the number of enrollees. Construction of hand washing facilities that is a number one
requirement of todays’ pandemic to stop the spread of Covid 19, since education must continue, we
provide learners with a safe environment following the health protocols in school. This program is
helpful to our learners to have a safe and conducive learning environment.

E. OBJECTIVES
1. To construct a Reading Lounge, flower boxes and hand washing facility
2. To repair the ceilings, door and door jams
3. To paint/repaint the school buildings and flower boxes
