NEW AGE, NEW REALITIES
The corporate world has been experiencing a drastic change in terms of business processes, both
technologically and functionally. Automation of workflow processes has been the new norm as firms all over
the corporate horizon are trying hard to increase profitability by reducing costs incurred and associated
latency. Organizations are aiming for a holistic development approach to achieve the same. The pandemic has
enforced organizations in taking proactive and innovative steps in ensuring that the net output level and
efficiency stays intact.

The 4th Leadership Summit at the Indian Institute of Management, Raipur aims to explore new-age realities
in the corporate world and present a fresh perspective to future leaders to prepare them for the challenges
that lie ahead.

________________________________________________________________________________________

PANEL DISCUSSION 1: RAPIDLY CHANGING BUSINESS SCENARIOS: IMPLICATIONS

FOR NEW MANAGERS

The new age of business defined as dynamic, rapid, and advanced, is here. Business processes are evolving
constantly. The 21st century has witnessed tremendous progress in technological advancement. Nascent
technologies have spawned up with modifications to outperform existing ones. In the functional realm, shifts
in processes are based on tangible and intangible factors. The discussion will lay emphasis on upcoming
managers gearing up and preparing themselves to acclimatize with fast-paced work environments.

PANEL DISCUSSION 2: CHALLENGING PARADIGMS OF WORK & WORKPLACE

Track 1: Understanding the Organisational Perspectives

Track 2: Understanding the Employee Perspectives

The pandemic has forced organizations to reassess their approach to working remotely and shifting to new
alternatives, aiding their employees in staying safe while maintaining the same levels of profitability. The
nascent working environment might affect diversity, equity, and inclusion, but the new-age Manager must
keep up with these new realities. Challenging paradigms is, thus, imperative to creative advancement and
gaining an edge. The discussion aims to prepare the managers of today, for problems of tomorrow.

PANEL DISCUSSION 3: CRISIS INSPIRING INNOVATION

Track 1: Dealing with Societal Challenges

Track 2: Preparing Organisation for Future

Developments arise out of disruption and help businesses grow. Organizations should aim at increasing
adaptability and they must ensure that they are ready to deal with shifts as smoothly as possible. The
discussion will focus on answering pertinent questions like the impact of crises on businesses, and steps
undertaken to effectively manage such predicaments. Problems unique to managing a global crisis, their
solutions, and their long-term implications shall all be covered by our eminent panelists.

PANEL DISCUSSION 4: EXECUTION IN DIGITAL ECONOMY

Piggybacking on ever-improving digital transformations, the economy has taken a massive tilt towards going

approaches that can be implemented for proper process execution in the digital economy.

PANEL DISCUSSION 5: DEVELOPING YOUR BUSINESS' DIGITAL CAPABILITIES - HOW

ARE WE DOING IT?

Digital Capabilities have become a necessity to compete in the long run. Organizations have no option but to
augment their core capabilities to leverage insights, focus on bridging the gap between physical and digital
worlds through various digital platforms, and modernize their systems to accelerate innovation. The
discussion will be focused on building a culture of digital receptivity among the employees and
implementing capabilities, to effectively bolster the reach and position of one’s business.

PANEL DISCUSSION 6: EMERGING PEOPLE STRATEGY AND WHAT IT MEANS FOR HR

Track 1: HR in New Age

Track 2: Skills for New Managers

Owing to the pandemic, organizations worldwide have resorted to digital means of communication for
